We had the good fortune of connecting with Monét Anaïs and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Monét, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
I want to highlight this question and let readers know that even a successful artist/entrepreneur like me has her moments! The main habit that has helped me get to where I am is consistency and conquering procrastination.

Instilling healthy habits to propel my career forward has been a huge challenge. Many people will start their day before the sun rises and have a full routine. Multiple opportunities are on my plate which means my routine can often change. It is my downfall and I want to be honest about this because we all have our weaknesses, but it’s about becoming aware and fixing the issue. I have been working on instilling a set schedule that works for my lifestyle. This means saying no more to others, less people pleasing, and saying yes to myself.

Simple habits such as utilizing my schedule via Google Calendar, my physical planner, and setting alarms keeps me on task throughout the day. Having a check list and goals for the day has also helped me immensely. Lastly, I give more attention to what makes Monet feel good in regards to sleep, exercise, diet, and hobbies that keep me relaxed and make me happy. All of this combined, my businesses have expanded and personal success achieved.

What should our readers know about your business?
7 years ago I was introduced to healthier drinking water (living water) and learned not all water is the same! Just like there are unhealthy chemicals etc. in our food, this is the same with our water. Changing the type of water we drink is part of what saved my Grandmeir from stage 3 carcinoid goblet cancer. She was determined to beat it holistically, no chemo, no radiation. My family was blown away with how drinking water the way nature intended helped her and significantly improved our health as well. My grandmother is happy, healthy, and alive today, and we are extremely grateful for the positive turn in her health!

I dove into the business about two years ago because I see a need to hydrate more people. Did you know 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated? Majority of people will get migranes, acid reflux, inflammation, and all sorts of issues that they will treat with pills and could simply be improved by drinking more water. Not just any water, the right water without chemicals, microplastics, etc. in an effort to bring the body back to homeostasis.

In the beginning one challenging was that many people did not see a problem with this, but now people are waking up. Alkaline water is on shelves in every store, multiple ionizers are out there. I stand by my water machine and the products I sell for several reasons and you may check out my link www.linktr.ee/anais,h2o for more information.

Owning your own business as a minority and female can also have it’s challenges. First of all, I had to learn to get organized and put together a routine! Every successful entrepreneur has this. Another common problem I come across in this business and is music are men who want more than just business. This happens all too often and my hope is that I and other women can continue to rise up and succeed despite this issue.

I’m the siren, here to hydrate and heal the world though water and my music. This is my purpose.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well I feel pretty lucky to live in beautiful California. There is so much to do here! One of my favorite towns is Laguna Beach. There are some great eating spots such as The Cliff, Mozambique, or The Stand. Nothing can get better than the ocean views from the beach. Laguna has lots of green and beauty.

The Irvine Spectrum is a very popping place! Many popular restaurants are here and a remodeled Regal Movie Theater with iMAX options.

Lastly the heart of LA in Hollywood is where all the action takes place. Runyon Canyon Hike is one of my favorite things to do, and I often go to music or premiere events over there depending on what is going on.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have been very blessed with the people in my circle! I want to give a shoutout to my amazingly supportive family. They always show so much love for me and what I do.

My cousin Cliff Beach has been the most helpful to me in the music industry business and I could not have done it without him! He helped me get my start as a pop music artist, introducing me to his producers, co-writing songs with me, and Cliff is even my life coach! He guides me along the way with literally anything I need. He has all the knowledge and connects me with who he can. It’s been a blessing to have him by my side,

My second career is selling alkaline water machines for the home and my dear friend Jilly (Water Priestess) has also always been by my side, cheering me on and there for me when I need anything! Starting your own business is not easy and I’m so grateful to have her by my side. She too started diving into music and we will also be collaborating on this soon!
