Meet Monica Henderson | Genius Activator, Motivational Comedian & Agent of Change

We had the good fortune of connecting with Monica Henderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Monica, what do you attribute your success to?
Everything in life and business has a pattern. When we understand the pattern we can change it. Most people are unaware of this pattern so they stay in exactly the same place despite their best efforts.

Here is what I know for sure, the only constant is change and you can either be a co-creator of the change or a victim of change. You can either be pulled by the vision or pushed by the pain..

The success in my life is from finally understanding that I have a choice. My success in my business is because I figured out a way to help others make choices that allow them to leverage change to benefit them. I made my brand about real people offering real people help in real-time. I collaborate with people who understand work in their own genius to help and we together help people to co-create a life that is designed by them for them healthy wealthy and fulfilled.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
MinkLife Motivation LLC. mission is the support millions of people worldwide to change their lives and grow their businesses through our virtual co-working, action planning course, and collaborative projects.

Truthfully, It was all an accident. The only thing about my business that I intentionally created was the action planning course. These courses don’t “teach” anything. They create space to allow the participant to remember what they already know and start acting on it, These courses also illuminate what they already knew they didn’t know, and show them a path to learn or get help with that. Lastly, through the journey, they finally understand what they didn’t know they didn’t know so they can finally move forward.

We found that people have been told what to do and sold ideas of what they need to be successful that didn’t seem to work. Many of our clients before working with us, spent on average $5000 or more on such things but because it was not tied to they unique business strategy they were left frustrated and broke still needing help with the problem they started with. Because of this, we have created an entire ecosystem that helps them create a plan, and execute a plan all while being supported by a community of people that understand what they are going through. No one has to feel alone in their life or business.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love giving tours of my town when people come to visit. I am a proud resident in DTLA.

I always start at the Intercontinental lobby to see the best view of LA,
The best park to be active is Historic Park in Chinatown.
Dancing at the Stoway in historic core.
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar in Little Tokyo,
Literally smelling the flowers in the flower district while you enjoy brunch at Poppy and Rose.
Getting souvenirs in the fashion district
Butter Cake at Mastro’s.
Catching a movie at the Alamo Draft house.
Spa Day and LA Atheltic Club
Grammy Musem & selfies with the Staues at Crypto Area
Bar Crawl Native Son, Broken Shaker, Golden Gopher, Seven Grand
Breakfast at the Pantry to recover the next morning
Wine Tasting at WineStop in the Arts District
