We had the good fortune of connecting with Nadine Jolson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nadine, what do you attribute your success to?
As a seasoned image architect, brand design specialist, and PR professional, I consult clients every day on the essential three factors that make up a successful brand. Number one: You must genuinely discover what is unique about you/your product/service that sets you apart and focus on that. Many people want to tell everyone everything all at once. I guide my clients to develop a strong campaign highlighting a clear brand message that spotlights their particular qualities. Second: It is vital to understand the audience/consumer you want to attract for your specific business model AND combined with how to strategically and beautifully represent yourself/your business to them. Thirdly, it is crucial to be consistent in your brand messaging across all platforms, your press releases, talking points covered in media interviews, your website, ads, social media, and all of your marketing materials. In today’s world of a multitude and constant imagery and input barrage, a well-executed clear and concise brand message can cut through the clutter and be successful.
What should our readers know about your business?
I have worked directly with clients for over 25+ years as an Image Design, and PR Expert. My forte is IMAGE PR: Smart Design, Strategic Marketing, and Powerful Public Relations for Entertainment and Lifestyle Clientele. We create Image Branding Campaigns, Indie Film Buzz, Produce Immersive Red Carpet Experiences, and Product/Business Launches. My exceptional talent for seeing the bigger picture and blending the design, branding, PR, and marketing united into one cohesive strategy, and executing great visuals to represent it, set my business concept apart. I love collaborating with clients who need someone to guide them by defining their brand, upscaling, elevating their current business image across all marketing platforms, social media, and PR exposure to level up, and effectively execute their vision. More recently, and due to the pandemic effects on the entertainment industry, I have seamlessly pivoted and have further expanded my passion for design. As a seasoned image architect, I have been able to direct my sense of style and design into the world of interior design. My design style is ‘Modern Chic meets Affordable Luxury.’ The exciting challenge of designing in the three-dimensional space of a home, commercial apartment building, and restaurant design has been a fantastic opportunity to explore my talents on a whole new platform.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love my neighborhood in Westwood, and its many cool spots to eat. You will often find me walking the beautiful Holmby Hills. STK at the W Hotel is one my top picks for a fabulous steak, and recently, they have been serving in their beautiful outdoor Hideout setting. For a more intimate vibe, you have to try Violet Bistro, great food, and an impressive outdoor courtyard. My absolute must-see is Rooftop at JG at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills. I am born and raised in Beverly Hills, and never before has there been a place with these spectacular views and exquisite fine dining! Be sure to make a reservation in advance. I was a major fan of the iPic Luxury Theaters ( hope they open again soon!) My other indulgent pastime is lounging by the city’s most luxurious pools with a special day resort pass. I highly recommend the Beverly Hilton, Ritz-Carlton in Marina Del Rey, and the Fairmont in Santa Monica. I also love shopping – yes, I will openly admit it:) – the newly renovated Westside Century City Shopping Mall is a treat beyond the cool shops. And of course, you cannot miss our beautiful beaches. I love to go with a friend for a power walk along the ocean right as magic hour hits, then stop and dine at a local spot during sunset.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to send my Shoutout to my dear BFF, Babette Ison, whom I have the privilege to watch grow, achieve and always give back to her community over the last 25+ years. Her career as a self-made businesswoman, currently a global luxury specialist at Coldwell Banker in Beverly Hills, is in itself quite admirable. Her absolute heartfelt dedication and the immense time she devotes to helping women struggling with the effects of alcoholism and drug addiction as a board member of the non-profit Friendly House Los Angeles Organization are truly remarkable. This year she is honored with chairing their annual fundraising event that is usually a 700+ person luncheon held at the Beverly Hilton hotel. This October 24th was their first-ever virtual fundraising event. She has pivoted to the new normal with grace and dignity, and I have full confidence this year’s event will be the best yet in her capable hands.
