Meet Nathan Nourian | Orthodontist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nathan Nourian and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nathan, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
My end goal is to leave a lasting impact on my community by making high-quality orthodontic care accessible to everyone. I want Textbook Orthodontics to be a trusted name where families know they can achieve beautiful, healthy smiles without financial barriers.
Professionally, I hope to mentor the next generation of orthodontists, sharing my passion for the field and the importance of patient-centered care. At the end of my career, I want to look back and see not only the smiles I’ve created but also the confidence and joy I’ve brought to people’s lives.

What should our readers know about your business?
At Textbook Orthodontics, we focus on creating beautiful smiles while making orthodontic care accessible to the Los Angeles community. What sets us apart is our commitment to affordability without compromising on quality. We offer braces and clear aligners at competitive rates because everyone deserves a confident smile, regardless of their financial situation.
I’m proud of the welcoming environment we’ve built for our patients. From coffee machines for parents in the waiting room to movies and music for kids, we ensure every visit is comfortable and fun. Seeing the transformation in our patients, both in their smiles and their confidence, is incredibly rewarding.
Getting to where we are today hasn’t been easy. Starting from scratch, with no patients and no established reputation, was a significant challenge. I spent long days hoping for consultations and worked tirelessly to get the word out about our practice. What got us through was our dedication to quality care and building relationships. Word-of-mouth referrals became the foundation of our growth.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that perseverance and staying true to your values pay off. It’s also essential to listen to your patients and continually improve their experience.
What I want the world to know about Textbook Orthodontics is that we’re here to make a difference. Our goal isn’t just to straighten teeth—it’s to change lives by boosting confidence and making orthodontic care accessible for everyone. This practice is my passion, and I’m incredibly grateful to our community for trusting us with their smiles.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my father, who was my greatest inspiration in dentistry. Watching him care for his patients with such dedication and compassion left a lasting impression on me from a young age. His work ethic, his love for his craft, and the way he made people feel at ease in the dental chair all shaped the kind of orthodontist I strive to be today. I’m incredibly grateful to have had such a remarkable mentor, and it’s an honor to carry on his legacy in my own way.
