We had the good fortune of connecting with Nelson Estevez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nelson, is there something you believe many others might not?
“Focus on one thing.” I would agree with, “One thing at a time” but I remember being told this while playing sports throughout high school and college. I was always a “Multi-Hyphenate” and would try other jobs out in order to understand every moving, functioning piece. Once you understand how the machine works, then you understand what is needed more effectively from you at your primary position. this can be applied as an actor, businessman, etc.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is the work ethic and drive to execute and finish. I can tell stories from a different perspective but still familiar for everyone to understand. I am mostly proud of my journey; the ups, the downs, and the additional downs. I have learned from my mistakes, take ownership in my wins and losses., but LEARNED from them so they won’t happen again. This journey has not been easy and came with alot of risks but its what makes my story unique and special. I still have ways to go and I learned the importance of finding the balance of humility and confidence. Still a work in progress but if you are not working on yourself, your business, your brand, then you are not working to your full potential. I’m ready to work. I’m ready to collaborate and to create.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Some of my favorite spots in the city are: Food: Sage Restaurant Food Truck: Lettuce Feast LA Workouts: Swenson Boxing Hike: Los Liones Trailhead Some activities I would like to do in the future: Horseback Riding, Scuba Diving, Learn to play the Saxaphone. I am more of an active person and need to explore more of California since I usually am on a time crunch.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher and Lauren Bertoni of Actors Comedy Studio. They have really helped to sharpen my acting skills and understand my brand more in a business perspective.
