We had the good fortune of connecting with Nemanja Zdravkovic and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nemanja, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
The eternal desire to play from an early age just continued in later life, but only this time pursuing an artistic or creative career allows me to play and engage deeply with my emotions.

Photography, especially, enables me to freeze meaningful moments, explore emotions, and offer new perspectives on the human experience while playing with aesthetics in the frame. During that process I am creating my own visual language. It’s fulfilling to turn inner thoughts and emotions into something real that connects with others

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The idea for my photography business grew organically.

I came up with the idea for my business as I recognized the importance of independence in developing my own unique style as a photographer.

Over the years, working in various photography fields gave me the freedom to experiment, refine my vision, and create a personal approach that resonated with people.

Starting my own business was a natural step in this journey, allowing me to fully embrace my creative process and offer clients a distinctive, authentic experience that reflects my passion and my personality.

The most important lesson my career has taught me is the value of belief, someone call’s that motivation in learning, patience, and discipline. Continuous growth comes from embracing new challenges in constant learning, while patience allows creativity to evolve naturally. Discipline keeps me focused and consistent in my work, pushing me to deliver my best every time and all these is covered by belief- motivations.

Building my business hasn’t been easy. It takes a lot of strong beliefs, and clear goals. I’d describe it as a constant process of solving new problems and pushing forward while you are learning new things. These problems are challenges and opportunities for growth, and they’re absolutely essential to the journey of building something meaningful.

Risk and taking on challenges have been crucial for my growth, both personally and professionally. I believe that staying in your comfort zone may feel safe, but it rarely leads to progress. Taking risks has allowed me to push my boundaries, explore new ideas, and evolve as a photographer.

Every challenge I’ve faced has taught me something new and led to growth. Without stepping into the unknown, I wouldn’t have developed my own style or built a business that reflects my passion and also I would never move to Los Angeles, California.

In my experience, embracing risk is essential for moving forward – that is something that I am most proud of and at the same time excited about.

I’m born and rise in Serbia, Belgrade (Southeastern Europe) and taking a risk to move in USA (I lived in Chicago for almost 10 years, so moving in Los Angeles was my second big move from the scratch) and these two things are the one of the best things happened to me. That is not only connected with my work/ business life, it is more about my personal growth and exploration – I’m super grateful about that.

I want the world to know that my brand and story are built on a deep passion for photography and art.
My journey has been about independence, developing my own unique style, and constantly evolving through reflection and learning. It’s more than just a business—it’s a lifestyle where art, exploration, and personal growth come together.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting, I’d recommend natural diversity that makes Southern California so special. In California, there’s so much variety—it’s hard to pick just one favorite spot because I love exploring and changing locations mountains, hills, desserts, ocean and city vibe.

But for a perfect local day in Los Angeles, I’d start at Sachi LA, a cozy coffee shop in my neighborhood – Del Rey . I love sitting on their patio, no rush, just enjoying a coffee and planning the rest of the day. From there, we might head to Venice Beach for more relaxed vibe, check out the street art and local shops, or walk along the canals.

I’m always in the mood for more adventure, hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains or Topanga Canyon is always a great option, or visiting a museum like the Getty for some art and stunning views of the city. Oh yea, I would give him a ride trough the Mulholland Drive definitely.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My girlfriend Katarina, family (my mother Dragica, father Mladen and sister Jovana), and my friend Boyan definitely deserve credit for their constant support and encouragement.

I’d also love to mention two books that have deeply influenced me: The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Solaris by Stanislaw Lem. Both have shaped my way of thinking, and have also opened up important personal questions for me to explore including a film director Andrei Tarkovsky.
