Meet Nicole Fabian | Education Consultant & Intuitive

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Fabian and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have always been spiritually guided toward my chosen career paths. It was never a process of discovery, per se, but rather an innate knowing my entire life. “Nicole Fabian Consulting” was a calling akin to my calling toward the teaching profession at the age of 11. In the 6th grade, I already knew I wanted to be a Special Education teacher; it wasn’t a mere childhood wish or fantasy, but rather it was what I knew I had to pursue.

Teaching for 20 years and working with students that struggle emotionally, behaviorally,academically, and socially has been an indescribable gift. In fact, my students aren’t the only ones who have learned and grown; I have cultivated so much new knowledge and personal growth from them as well. Every single one of my students has made a beautiful impact on my life whether it’s through personal growth, deeper compassion or fine-tuning my intuitive abilities.

A few years ago, I lost a former student of mine to an overdose. His death made me feel as if I had failed him as a teacher. I questioned why I couldn’t help him correct his path. But then I realized: his life path was not in my control. This epiphany, however, was accompanied by a feeling that teaching in the classroom wasn’t the same–something shifted–and subsequently my “calling” shifted. I knew I needed to explore a path similarly impactful. I began to look inward; I started to heal, address my own shadows, and navigate my spiritual side. My guides were calling and showing me the way; the universe was telling me I needed to shift.

I have always been able to read the energy of my students: I knew whether they were in a good place or going to have a positive or difficult day. This ability has helped me support my students in a much more effective and therapeutic way than other educators who may not be as in touch (if at all) with their own intuitive abilities. I discovered I have so many blessings in addition to teaching in a classroom. I was given intuitive and spiritual gifts that allow me to see the whole child and it helps me provide tools and guidance to families and their children. My conundrum, however, was that intuitive guidance and spiritual enlightenment don’t fit into the traditional Western classroom setting; I needed to create a separate avenue to help others access this level of supporting a child in need.

That is why it is my mission to empower other teachers, families, and children to use their unique gifts to harness their own intuitive abilities, however strong or slight that intuition may be, to help them navigate their human experience. I desire to provide a safe space for individuals to come forward and share their light and darkness. I want to guide others on how they can tap into their gifts and light and to help them confront their shadows. If we can look at the whole child, which means their emotional, physical, and spiritual selves, we can help them heal, share, and live their best lives.

Embracing our differences, celebrating our differences, and understanding that each one of us has the power to contribute to the beauty in this world is such imperative work. If I can empower others to look at the beauty and gifts that lie within us, I believe I can awaken others to see how their unique self is here with a purpose, and that they can make this world a greater and brighter place to live.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I believe there are many people who are blessed with the gift of intuitiveness. In fact, many teachers have been described as empaths, which means they are people who are highly aware of the emotions of those around them. That being said, I haven’t met many, if any, teachers that are willing to support children and families by using their intuitive gifts to help guide them. Nicole Fabian Consulting is a business that offers intuitive readings and educational support for children, families, and other educators. My mission is to help individuals navigate the gifts and challenges they have and provide them with insight and tools to help empower them to take charge of their own healing, growth, and destiny. I enjoy working with families, individuals, or children along with their parents or support system.

With the COVID-19 Pandemic I saw a need to help support families with at-home learning. Parents were finding themselves in an unfamiliar role as a teacher for their children now learning remotely. I wanted to provide support for families that were struggling with at-home learning. I began by offering tutoring and education consulting services. I also knew I wanted to find a way to use my intuitive, psychic abilities to help facilitate healing and growth within families. I put my services out there and was surprised with the number of people interested in Intuitive Readings rather than educational support. I found that people were looking for comfort, guidance, and healing during these difficult times. Intuitive Readings have been the most sought-after service.

I have realized the greatest gift I can give my clients is to meet them where they are at–spiritually or emotionally. I treasure and relish the opportunity to read peoples’ energy. They open their hearts and allow me to see what may be impacting (or impeding their careers, relationships, or their relationship with themselves). Sessions allow the time and space to look at what is happening with my clients on a spiritual level. We tap into their loved ones and guides to help them find guidance and support. These sessions meet the needs of the individual client and give them the insight to help them restore their faith and understand that they have access to their own ‘knowing’. It is my hope that they use the experience to continue to build on their own intuition to help serve themselves and those around them.

The content and information I share with my clients is the easy part. The tough part is learning how to successfully manage the business end of things. I have found that reaching out for support, from other women, that are gifted in accounting, marketing, and investing will continue to be important for me to do, to ensure the business is successful. We all have special and unique gifts and when women can come together to support one another and share their gifts we can create a beautiful space that allows women to be held up by other women and celebrate their successes.

What I would most like to share with the world, is that each and every one of us, can tap into our intuition and gifts, and to allow them to help guide us and to shine in the loveliest ways. Everyone comes with unique abilities, and it is important that we honor and love ourselves. The more love that we pour upon ourselves the more we will be able to spread love, peace and kindness throughout this world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
You can never see enough in LA. Hiking along Griffith Conservatory is a must for any visitor. The views of the city will stay etched in your memory forever. I love driving through the neighborhoods and looking at all the beautiful homes, taking in the vision of palm trees lining the streets and the aroma of all the beautiful, blossoming flowers. Sipping coffee or matcha on the sidewalk outside a coffee house with a friend in the sunshine always brightens my day. There are so many options for joining a yoga or breathwork class to help you tap into your self and connect to the earth and your body. I love the vibe of Venice Beach and enjoy riding my bike along the boardwalk, watching the skateboarders demonstrate their sick skills or just sitting to watch all the fun interactions. It is always enjoyable to ride up to Santa Monica Pier and take in the excitement. Ending my day with gratitude while watching the sunset along the Pacific Ocean always marks the end of a fabulous day.
