From Bullying to International Runways: My Faith-Driven Journey and the Birth of NA Management Inc.
My name is Nini Amerlise, and my journey in the world of fashion and faith has been nothing short of a miracle. I want to take you on a personal journey – one that led to the creation of NA Management Inc., a creative agency deeply rooted in faith, values, and Diversity.
My journey started with childhood bullying and a turning point in 2015 when I experienced domestic abuse. During this challenging time, I found faith in Christ. This led to significant achievements, including founding non profit organization We Are Royals Inc catered to developing self-esteem through arts, education and storytelling, I achieved a breakthrough in the inaugural season of Supermodel Canada, becoming the first Black woman to win a supermodel competition in Canada and now being named “Model of the Decade” at the African Fashion Industry Awards in 2022 to name a few. As I review 2023, I celebrate a decade in the fashion industry, marked by overcoming adversity and my unshakable faith in God.
Rather than compromising my faith or surrendering to the cruelty of others, I turned to God for strength and inspiration. My spirituality became my anchor, and it ignited my passion for modeling. With my faith as my guiding light, I transformed those painful experiences into sources of resilience and motivation.
Through this deeply personal journey, I had a revelation – a calling from God to make a difference in the fashion industry. I realized that my faith was not a hindrance but a unique strength that could drive positive change. And so, NA Management Inc. was born.
NA Management Inc. is not just another talent agency; it’s a reflection of my journey. It’s a journey from being bullied and marginalized to becoming a world-class supermodel, all while staying true to my faith and values. I founded this agency to empower models and talent to do the same – to embrace their uniqueness, walk their path with integrity, and shine in the entertainment industry without sacrificing their beliefs.
What sets NA Management Inc. apart is our unwavering commitment to faith, integrity, and diversity. My personal journey taught me that you can succeed in the fashion world without compromising your principles. And that lesson forms the very core of NA Management Inc.
My story, and the agency born from it, sends a powerful message to the world. It tells us that adversity can be a stepping stone to greatness. It teaches us that faith is not a weakness but a source of strength. It reminds us that success can be achieved with integrity and authenticity.
NA Management Inc. is my way of sharing this message with the world – that faith and talent can intersect to create a more inclusive, compassionate, and diverse entertainment industry. It’s a brand story that celebrates not only my journey but also the limitless possibilities that faith and unwavering determination can bring to our lives.
NA Management Inc. is a unique and faith-based creative agency, and what sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to representing models and talent who embody wholesome values and integrity. We also provide Media production and Public relation services. We take pride in fostering an environment where our clients can pursue their dreams in the entertainment industry while staying true to their core principles.
Our journey to where we are today has been both challenging and rewarding. It wasn’t easy to carve out a niche in an industry that often prioritizes different values. However, our dedication to our mission and our clients has been the driving force behind our success. What sets us apart is our unwavering dedication to nurturing talent that reflects Christ’s teachings and values. We believe that faith is not separate from our work but is the very foundation upon which we operate.
Challenges are an inevitable part of any business, but we’ve overcome them through perseverance, innovation, and a relentless focus on our values. Here are some key lessons we’ve learned along the way:
1.Love and Compassion: We strive to show love and compassion to all our clients and partners, mirroring Christ’s love for humanity. This means treating everyone with kindness, respect, and understanding.
2.Servant Leadership: Our team is dedicated to serving the needs of our clients, helping them achieve their goals and reach their fullest potential.
3.Honesty and Integrity: Integrity is a core principle in our work. We aim to be honest, transparent, and ethical in all our dealings.
4.Diversity: Christ welcomed and embraced people from all walks of life, and we follow suit. We’re committed to diversity, ensuring that everyone has a place and a voice in our agency, Providing cultivation and restoration tools for the nurturing of gift, talents and great character to be exposed.
5.Support and Encouragement: We provide support, guidance, and encouragement to our talent. We walk with them on their journey, helping them overcome challenges and celebrate successes.
6.Leading by Example: We understand that actions speak louder than words. By living out these principles daily in our work, we aim to inspire our clients and partners to do the same in their respective careers and lives.
Our ultimate goal is not only to guide our clients to success in the entertainment industry but also to be a positive influence, reflecting the values of Christ Jesus. We want the world to see us as a beacon of light and love in the industry, where faith and talent intersect to create a better, with more Diversity and more compassionate entertainment world.

In light of shifting beauty norms, we developed the “True Faces” Diversity Campaign,” a dynamic and ongoing series that seeks to normalize the presence of marginalized and underrepresented individuals in the media. In a powerful collaboration with industry influencers and decision-makers, including Dallas Fashion Week, African Fashion Week Toronto, Fashion Harp, Vogue Italia, GT Network, and Travel Africa Network, the campaign is poised to redefine prevailing beauty standards.
A thought-provoking article on verywellmined.com titled “The Connection Between Body Image and Eating Disorders” underscores concerning statistics: 50% of preadolescent girls and 30% of boys express dissatisfaction with their bodies. Similarly, approximately 60% of adult women and 40% of adult men grapple with negative body image issues. This highlights the urgent need to celebrate and embrace diverse body types and identities.
The “True Faces” Diversity campaign emerges as a beacon of hope, aimed at dismantling these barriers and empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds. Collaborating with influential platforms such as Dallas Fashion Week, African Fashion Week Toronto, Fashion Harp, Vogue Italia, GT Network, and Travel Africa Network, the campaign amplifies diverse voices, celebrating the vibrant tapestry of cultures.
