We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalyn Randle and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalyn, how do you think about risk?
I took a risk November 2010 to bet on me @110%, to make me a better person, and to find the JOY that I was entitled to. It was scary when I realized that I had to pull back so many layers of hurt, pain, un-forgiveness, darkness, hate, distrust and much more. Taking a risk on my life journey, one step at a time, has lead me to find my inner self, my self-worth, my self-pride and most of all my self-love. In taking a risk, you never know where it will lead you. Through my inner healing, God has truly Blessed me mentally, spiritually and emotionally. I have been Blessed with an amazing platform that I can share my story. Black Business Women Rock 501c3 is an organization that serves to cultivate connections and offer opportunities for entrepreneurs all over the world. I thank God for allowing me to see all my Blessing. It was worth taking the RISK.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My passion for giving back inspired the concept for Black Business Women Rock. With my team, I’m driving an agenda of self-love, unity and entrepreneurship. BBWR Network started in my backyard and has grown into a highly attended annual conference and expo. I think what sets me apart from others is to impress the customer at every opportunity; this includes the quality of my products, services, and stepping back to allow others to shine their light. I believe that when you take care of the village, in return the village will take care of you. It’s becomes a win, win situation. I’m most excited about the hope that I have; the hope that is still alive. We have the opportunity to be better than we were yesterday. I got here in my business by understanding that I wanted more for myself. Patience, determination, discipline, prayer, boundaries and doing the work got me here in my life and business. Most challenges are not easy. The focus is to win by learning from the lessons, and the blessings that will come your way. Be grateful for your struggles. I learned that hard work will pay off and it will get easier if you hang in there. Keep trying over and over and over again!! As I continue to serve the world gracefully, they will know I am you, and you are me, and we are one; all while trying to better while we leave our footsteps for someone else to follow.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would take a long drive to Santa Barbara for a nice hike. We’d take our time and listen to some of our favorite music, while we reminisce of good old times, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Once we arrived to the trail site we’d take a moment to stretch and meditate as we get ready to embrace nature for 2 hours. After the hike, we’d take a walk over to the beach and relax with our bare feet in the sand. Then, we would to the sound of the beautiful waves. As we leave the beach exhausted, we’d take a 10 minute drive over to our private room. Our private Chef would greet us with some tasteful wine; while preparing to entertain us with music, food and conversation for the next hour. Aww we are in heaven!! Before the night ends, we toast to an AMAZING day and say Good Night.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
