We had the good fortune of connecting with Ninja Thvg and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ninja, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
I would have to say, investing in my own ideas instead of others.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I feel that I have been blessed with the ability to create in more than just 1 platform or specific genre. So, I create in many different aspects of entertainment, such as film/acting, fashion, music, gaming, etc. Also, a martial artist and fitness trainer, so I create opportunities within all listed traits, as I feel they coincide with one another. It certainly is not easy to wear all those hats, effectively. As we know, in today’s world of art and content creation, the artists tend to focus on 1 niche which brings them their traction, but I feel like if you are blessed with the capability to do many things, and do them well, why limit yourself? As I have stated before, learning that you can be in charge of your own brand, instead of becoming part of or working for someone else’s, is a game-changer. Noticing someone else’s work, especially in the social era we live in currently, is not easy. But, I am gradually growing in the social space which makes for more traction, with a website coming soon for my clothing line, NINJA WAY, in which shirts are available NOW, just DM me on Instagram @Ninja_thvg

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, it definitely would depend on what my friend had in mind, also. But, we would definitely have to head to downtown L.A. and experience the many diverse restaurants the city has to offer, preferably Little Tokyo. I am a huge fan of Japanese culture/Anime so, that would be a must. Little Tokyo is a whole different vibe on another level, with plenty of different shops and sites to visit. Check out the Santa Monica pier, great seafood and views ofcourse. Maybe hit an arcade or 3, lol gaming is a lifestyle and I live and wear it well. Plus, there are plenty of Barcades in the SoCal area. Anything else after that is extra credit, maybe check out a concert or 2 and some museums for vibes and inspiration.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I don’t want to sound cliche, but I definitely would have to shoutout GOD for giving me the ability to do the things that I do. Nothing is possible without him, and also would have to thank my mother for always having my back, encouraging my ideas even when nobody else will, and having no issue with correcting me when I need to be corrected, LOL.
