We had the good fortune of connecting with Noro Kocharyan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Noro, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued a creative career because I love helping people with my natural abilities. The traditional approach never spoke to me and I have committed to a life that reflects my unconventional approach.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
MOONS Creative is a boutique creative agency that specializes in consulting, branding, marketing, content production, and web development. Our goal is to infuse every step of the way with a blend of the operational force of the corporate sphere and the essence of a boutique space. I am most proud of the shift that we have led in elevating the digital presence of various businesses.
Founded in 2018, MOONS Creative evolved as a collaboration between two friends based on sheer necessity and timing. We started as two guys sitting and working days and nights with a mission to evolve the way people were representing themselves. We had both been building our own clientele individually, and eventually started to jump on each other’s projects. MOONS Creative organically took on a life of its own when we realized that by teaming up, we could give our clients more value. It’s been a crazy trip with a huge amount of great projects, product launches, re-branding projects, passion, and love. In terms of challenges, given that especially this last year has not been an easy one for anyone, the biggest lessons we’ve had to continually come back to have been to keep our faith and have patience towards our goals.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As soon as they land, we’re grabbing burritos from Lily’s Malibu and we’re hitting the beach. Since the lockdown in California has been going on for over a year now, we have had to retreat to nature more often than ever. From intimate dessert parties in Joshua Tree to hikes in Yosemite, to discovering spots like Descanso Gardens we have gotten a truer send of all that the state has to offer. When it comes to LA, our best bet has stayed true to gatherings at home with some of the best people, amazing food, and of course music.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Every human being that we meet along our journey is a teacher, whether they know it or not. I feel grateful to be blessed with an unconditionally supportive global network of the big Armenian community in Los Angeles, who makes me feel right at home.
