Meet Nova Hollie | Entrepreneur/Musician/Financial Educator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nova Hollie and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nova, we’d love to hear about a book that’s had an impact on you.
From The Go-Giver, I learned that real success isn’t about what I can take but about what I can give. It taught me that by adding value to others’ lives, opportunities naturally flow back to me. This mindset shift helped me move away from selfish pursuits and become more focused on collaboration and service.
The Way of the Superior Man challenged my understanding of masculinity and purpose. It pushed me to embrace emotional awareness, act with integrity, and balance strength with vulnerability. It made me realize that living with purpose and empathy is far more fulfilling than chasing narrow goals.
Together, these books transformed my thinking and behavior, guiding me from a place of self-interest to one where I lead with intention, generosity, and responsibility toward others.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It was never easy, but every challenge has been worth it. My journey started with my first love music. I dedicated myself to creating countless songs and performing at major events, including the 2015 Thizzler Jam in Oakland. Sharing the stage with Bay Area talents like Show Banga, Iamsu, Kool John, and Nef Da Pharoah was a highlight. Along the way, I met Paul Wall, performed with Mistah Fab, and connected with J Stalin, Young Bari, GetItDmac, and Priceless Da Roc. I even sold tickets for a Dej Loaf show in Oakland and had the opportunity to go backstage with comedian HaHa Davis. During the 2020 Grammys in LA, I worked closely with Roc Nation affiliates, attending after-parties and networking with key industry players.
Founding my label, Wedemn3rdz, with King Zo, Mook (my big cousin/manager), and a group of family and friends gave me the platform to grow and help others thrive in the music scene. Transitioning into sound engineering was a crucial step I wanted to become fully independent. I made sure to own all my publishing and masters, learned to mix and master my own tracks, and eventually opened my studio to help other artists not just create music but also understand the business behind it.
My online presence also became a major part of my journey. I built a strong following on X (formerly Twitter), with follow-backs from E-One Music, Maybach Music Group, Dodge, and Grammy-nominated producers. Marketing became one of my strengths, and I used it to create meaningful connections within the industry.
In 2021, I expanded into cryptocurrency. My first big win came from investing $100 into Shiba Inu, which turned into $10k in just four months. That success gave me confidence to dive deeper into this financial world. Now, I trade full-time and educate others on Infinite Banking strategies using crypto. Getting licensed as a financial educator with Truevir Financial Group allowed me to help people understand the power of being their own bank and funding their futures with financial independence.
Reaching this professional level has taken relentless effort, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous growth. Every step from performing on stage to navigating the world of finance has taught me valuable lessons. One of the biggest takeaways has been the importance of building meaningful relationships with like-minded people. My goal is to continue creating those connections with future business partners who share the same vision of success and growth.
At the end of the day, life’s challenges have shaped me into the person I am today. If everything were easy, we wouldn’t appreciate the value of hard work and perseverance. My brand and my business are built on independence, efficiency, and empowerment helping others unlock their own potential while striving to achieve greatness together. But can’t stress enough through out everything I have been through it was prayer and manifestation that got me to where I am at today and continuing to still grow as we speak the job isn’t over until I breathed my last breath on this earth.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a friend were visiting me, the first thing I’d do is take them to the best hiking spots and gym around. Fitness plays a big role in my life it’s essential for keeping both the mind and body in check. After a good workout or hike, we’d stop by Cast Iron & Grill and also Pampas Brazillian Steakhouse, two of the finest spots for lunch, dinner & drinks in Solano County The food there always hits the spot. Even though I’m vegetarian I know spots that vegan options for myself.
If someone visited, I’d take them to Darioush Winery for the ultimate wine tasting experience. Driving along the scenic Silverado Trail, we’d arrive at their stunning Persian-inspired estate. There, we’d explore bold wines like their renowned Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot through a private tasting with food pairings. The elegant ambiance and attention to detail at Darioush make it the perfect place to enjoy wine, relax, and create lasting memories amidst Napa’s beauty.
Next, we’d head over to Oakland, my hometown, for Taco Tuesday. The taco trucks out there are on another level—hands down the best tacos you’ll find. After that, we’d make our way to Marin County, a place that’s always brought me peace. I spent the last two years of high school out there, and it’s one of the most serene places I know. The mountains, trails, and bike paths that wind through the redwood forests are incredible, with fresh air and cool weather that always refresh the soul. Stinson Beach is a great place to unwind too we could set up a bonfire, roast marshmallows, and just enjoy the sound of the waves and the crisp air.
One of the things I love most about Marin is how easy it is to walk down the streets and meet all kinds of people—diverse, open-minded individuals. Out there, you don’t have to look over your shoulder, worrying about crime or danger. It’s just peace. Everyone’s energy feels light, and people are just being themselves.
The best type of fun is when you don’t have to follow anyone else’s idea of it. It’s about doing your own thing, being true to yourself, and not looking for anyone’s approval. Those are the moments that feel the most genuine just living in the moment, enjoying the company, and appreciating life exactly as it is.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to my mother and my late father. My father passed away when I was just two years old, but I’ve learned so much about him through treasured items he left behind and stories from his side of the family. Both of my parents gave me life and the opportunity to pursue greatness, and their presence continues to shape who I am today.
I also give thanks to the Lord above for every breath in my body. I’m grateful for the tough times as much as the easy ones, because they’ve allowed me to see life from both perspectives and lean on Him for wisdom and guidance. Without His grace, I wouldn’t have the strength to keep growing into the man I’m meant to be.
A special shoutout to my brother Dwayne from the gym. He’s been a true blessing, always stepping in when I hit financial struggles and investing in me, not just with money but with belief. His support has been a key part of my journey toward becoming the man I am today.
I’m truly blessed beyond measure, and without these three my parents, the Lord, and Dwayne I wouldn’t be here or becoming the best version of myself.
