We had the good fortune of connecting with Official Feature and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Official, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I believe that consistency was one of the habits that helped me succeed. I’ve been consistent in doing the best I can with whatever opportunity or situation the Lord has afforded me to have. Whether it be driving for Uber, I need to be the best at it. I need to consistently work hard and provide the best customer experience. If I worked at McDonald’s, I would be employee of the year. No matter what I touch, I will do it with my whole heart unto the Lord. Those same characteristics carry into my music.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As of right now, I just released my newest project “Prius.” This project is special because it is my story and it contributes to making me stand out as I’ve embraced my come up story. I was able to get involved in the music industry due to driving Uber and connecting with so many people and opportunities. There are so many gig workers that I feel are under represented. They don’t have a role model. I wanted to share my story by fully embracing driving Uber and making a quality project to inspire the masses.

I want people to hear my story and become motivated to change their perspective on the tool that God has given them currently. With the thought of doing well with what they currently have allows God to trust you with more.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If one of my friends was visiting Los Angeles, the first place I would take them is the Terranea Resort. It overlooks the ocean. It gives off an Italy or South France beauty with unbelievable views.

I’d also take them to Dulan’s for some soulfood in Inglewood. I’d take them to my church, Rolling Hills Covenant Church. They will never forget the experience. I’d show them the beaches in the Southbay (Redondo, Hermosa, and Manhattan) I’d show them Salt’s Creek in Laguna. I’d take them to downtown Los Angeles, downtown Long Beach, and probably walk them through Rodeo Drive. Lastly, I believe one of the biggest places to go would be on Melrose to Cool Kicks and all the surrounding clothing stores so they could see the variety of Jordan’s, Yeezys, and Supreme clothing.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
In the current phase I’m in, I have to give a tremendous shout out to Paul & Roula. This is a lovely couple that I met who were visiting from Switzerland. We were together for a little under two hours, and the next day, they initiated a transfer of $10,000 to my account to promote my newest project “Prius” I’m honored that they would sow into my life like that. Shoutout to them and much love to them and their brother Ruben. Many blessings to you all.
