We had the good fortune of connecting with Olympia LePoint and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Olympia, what do you attribute your success to?
Science. Faith. Explosive Outcomes. When I asked about the one important factor behind my Answers Unleashed company success and brand, I have one word: Explosive.

When I worked in rocket science launching NASA engines in the early 2000’s, my job was to make things explode. My thought process was simple. I asked myself: What must go into this operation for there to be the most explosive outcome for a breakthrough success?

When I left rocket science and formed my own company in 2007, I kept that mindset. When I performed my first TED talk as an author, I asked myself: What content will make this information explosive? I devised a speech opening that drew in over 1+ Million viewers.

When I wanted to buy something outside of my budget, I asked myself: How is my purchase going to help me hire staff, publish books and create TV shows that I will 100% own plus distribute? If I could not find an answer, I saved my money. I let let the purchase go. Later, I would invest money into banking on myself, and the return on investment would explode my global recognition.

When I wanted to create innovative methods for teaching people math and science through the COVID-19 pandemic, I asked myself: What approach will explode science news internationally, so millions of people will be educated with real facts while being safer-at-home? That decision led me to create my virtual member subscription services on my Answers Unleashed® and Mathaphobia® website platforms. My educational appearances that you see on TV has more educational insight through videos on my membership subscription platforms.

In answering these questions for myself, I became my own boss. I learned to explode science education. I learned to answer to myself and gave faith for breakthrough success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have been called the “New Einstein” by my fans and named the “Modern Day Hidden Figure” by People Magazine. I am invited into people’s minds, and I help you renew your thinking by sharing my life story and personal lessons together with science principles for your innovative success.  I am an award-winning rocket scientist, author and TED speaker of viral talk “Reprogramming Your Brain to Overcome Fear.” I helped launch 28 NASA Space Shuttle missions into space. Today, my Mission Control Room desk is a science exhibit at the California Science Center in Los Angeles. Though, my life has never been easy. In my youth, I overcame severe poverty, personal violation, plus failing math scores by reprogramming my mind. It was hard. But it is a process that I use every day, still. My renewed thinking led me to graduate Top 5 from a 6,500 graduating class with degrees in Mathematics. After sharing what I have learned within my books Mathaphobia and Answers Unleashed, I have been seen by over 17 Million viewers on TEDx, CBS News, KTLA Morning News, NBC News, PBS,  Impact Theory, and in People and Mashable Magazines. Today, I am a professional science entertainer and contributing journalist on Thrive Global. I regularly appear on CBS News as a guest Space Expert who explains science. Though, I am most excited about building methods for millions of people to overcome fear to renew their thinking and unleash innovative answers for this planet. As a result, I created my educational platforms AnswersUnleashed.com and Mathaphobia.com. Through my video subscription memberships on the sites, you can watch life-changing videos that jump start your mind to see answers. I am helping you use science and faith to thrive and launch your life into success!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would NOT take my friends out right now. There is a the COVID-19 Pandemic. It safer to be at home now. My guests deserve to see the great Los Angeles when people are healthy and safe.

When the pandemic is over, I would take my visiting friends to the great places in Los Angeles which include:

– to The California Science Center to where my seat in the Mission Control Room is an exhibit next to the NASA Space Shuttle Endeavor

– to pray at Bel Air Church on top of Muholland Drive

– to hotels, businesses and shops in Beverly Hills with the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce

– to donate to help women health surgery survivors at Cedar Sinai Medial Center

– to support philanthropy at PBS stations

– to view art at The Getty Museum

– to participate in horse polo philanthropic charity events at Will Rogers State Park

– to eat french food at Le Petit Four Restaurant on Sunset Boulevard

– to dine at the Langham Hotel for famous Chef Denny’s food

– to walk the beautiful grounds and listen to music at the Soroya Performing Arts Center at California State University Northridge

– to film my TV show with me on Answers Unleashed.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
