Meet Omar adame | DJ

We had the good fortune of connecting with Omar adame and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Omar, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want people to remember me by the love and energy I gave to the world. I want to bring people together to dance, love, and vibe together even if its for a moment. When we’re in that moment, it feels like its complete unity and acceptance. The best moments like those I felt were on the dancefloor. There is no hatred, bigotry, negativity on the dancefloor. Just good music, people, and energy. I want to bring that energy to people all over the world across dancefloors in every country. I feel like music can heal and change the world by one dancefloor at a time. I’ve seen it happen in person and I want to recreate that vision for others. Music, house music, rave culture and dancefloors saved my life and gave me purpose. I want to bring that love and energy to people all over the world to bring inclusion, love and goodness. When we’re in that moment of complete presence with eachother, vibing together and dancing as one with one song playing…I feel like that moment can change the world. I believe in the power of music and that power can help so many people. It helped me so much. I want to be remembered by genuity and drive to bring people together through the power of music. The power of disco and house music!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a House Music DJ who plays a variety of house music. House music definitely made me see a different way to live this life and to the genre and community, im so grateful for. I like to play disco, funky, groovier tracks when I DJ. I grew up with my mom always blasting disco, 80’s and funk music while my dad blasted oldies, motown, James brown, micheal Jackson, and a mixture of Cumbria and merengue. Funk, disco and groove were instilled in me at such an early age. It was not easy to get into the industry. It takes time, work and effort to master your craft. I am no where ready where I want to be but thats okay. I’m enjoying the journey rather than the final product.:) I learned that what makes house music and this community so great is because of the community. Its about togetherness, love, expression and its about music and dancing! Let’s just dance and vibe and be free! Thats what I love about this genre and this community. The love. So much love. My artist name is Sebastian Sol. Sebastian for my great grandfather and sol meaning sun in spanish. It means I put my soul into everything I do and as much as we need the sun to live, we need music just as much. I want people to know that when they hear a sebastian sol set, I try to convey a powerful message of love, unity, uplifting energy, optimism, and expression in my sets. I want to inspire people to be themselves and express themselves freely for who they are because who they are is beautiful. You are needed in this world and you always have a place on the dancefloor:) come dance with me, lets dance together and let’s express ourselves for who we are.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to nature spots. Definitely some waterfall action to feel connected to nature and the power our earth can bring to us. For a night out I’d take them to a local bar where they play house music at. Hideaway bar or metal to get the vibes in and let the vibe ouy with others. I’d throw a house party as well to just vibe with friends. Have a bonfire at the beach and chill.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
To all my friends and family who supported me since day one when I was practicing on an ironing board. You still come to my shows in support and dance and I am forever grateful for every single one of you. I love you so much. You know who you are! (Ravefam) I want to give credit to the first person who believed in me. Bryan orozco who goes by the name ROZCO who is also a DJ. He has taught me so much and has guided me from my early days into who I am now. He has taught me to be a better DJ but also a better person as well. A true mentor. Ty who is the most amazing photographer I have ever seen. He listens and understands my vision and supports it. Friends like him are hard to come by. He is a genuine and beautiful soul through and through and i am glad to have him as a friend and business associate. I value you friend. The collective who helped my growth as a DJ. House side of the force and Funday House sessions! Adam Paz & Orlando dj orly! Thank you so much for every single opportunity. And thank you to every single one of you who comes to these shows and express yourself freely and with love. The world needs more music more art, more poetryand love. Thank you..
