We had the good fortune of connecting with OTA Studios and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi OTA, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
One reason we pursue an artistic career is that it allows us to take a simple idea and utilize technology in our own artistic way to bring it to life. On The Air with Joe and Blair came to be from just a simple idea of a fully automated talk show and we successfully executed it, it wasn’t easy but that’s part of the creative process. Our content has expanded way beyond just that. We added in Vlogs, Skits, On The Street interviews, Podcasts, and all sorts of different content. Even when it’s hard to make content or get writer’s block, it’s very inspiring to look back at old videos to see what we’ve accomplished and how far we’ve come, it makes it all worth it.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets us apart from most creators is our ability to utilize technology in new innovative ways for an interactive experience for our live show, but we also pride ourselves on the quality of our content whether it be audio, VFX, motion graphics, color grading, and everything. We love to learn new ways of making our content to the best of our abilities.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Longboarding in Venice Beach and I also heard shamrock shakes are back at McDonalds. Idon;t know if they can handle all that excitement in one day, might have to split that up into two separate days.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to Eli Estes for being with us since the beginning, we could’ve made such quality content without him helping out and letting us borrow gear when we needed it.
