We had the good fortune of connecting with Pablo J. Rosario and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pablo J., what’s one piece of conventional advice that you disagree with?
Just be yourself.

It’s the worst advice you can give someone who is trying to better their dating life.

Because by telling someone to just be themselves, you’re essentially telling them that they don’t have to do anything in order to attract the partner they want. That it’s ok not to evolve, improve, or refine oneself.

That their partner will find them.

It’s because of passive advice like these that guys walk around in wrinkled shirts and dirty shoes wondering why women aren’t attracted to them.

I’m certainly not saying change who are and become inauthentic.

Instead, aim to cultivate and be the best version of yourself.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m a men’s dating and relationship dating coach.

In a nutshell, I help single men build the confidence and skills to attract the women they want.

What’s unique about the way I help men is that I focus on helping them get rid of their inner doubts, fears, and insecurities that stop them from becoming the confident guy they’ve always dreamed of being.

As far as how I got here, I wouldn’t say that it was hard but it was definitely a roller-coaster ride of a ride.

My biggest hurdle was learning to ask for what I was worth. I used to undercharge and accept lower than I wanted, but that changed when I started regularly interacting with other successful coaches. They taught that I was dreaming too small and that was worth it and that my clients are getting more than their money’s worth.

Along this journey, I did pick up some valuable lessons though. The 3 biggest ones are…. 1) Consistency is the key to success. 2) Always ask for the sale and 3) You only fail when you stop trying.

When it’s all said and done, I hope the world takes away from me, my brand, and my story that is that success at love, business and life is a function of who you are. Don’t worry about achieving certain results.

Just focus on becoming the TYPE of person that achieves those results and everything else will fall into place.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First stop – the Hollywood Walk of Fame. While doing that, stop to get a burger from In-n-Out burger.
The next day, spend the day at The Grove.
Later that evening, take them to Leo’s taco truck on La Brea.
The next morning, take a hike up Runyon and end the night in DTLA at the Edison.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a shout out to Rico Rivera.

Rico was my former manager, and later, good friend, who gave me the confidence to make my jump into becoming a men’s dating and relationships coach.

Wouldn’t be where I am without his inspirational words and encouragement.
