We had the good fortune of connecting with Paola I. Neri, Esq. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paola I., what do you attribute your success to?
Being proactive. When you start your own law office you are now front and center. I opened my business in February 2020 before the pandemic and being proactive has allowed me to brand myself efficiently, connect with others to expand my reach, and continue to push for continued success through these trying times.

What should our readers know about your business?
At Neri Law Offices, hard work and professionalism is at our core. We are proactive by initiating contact and developing case strategy, promote justice via legal argument and advocacy, and get you results. We are passionate about what we do and treat everyone with respect. With an eye for detail and a mind for tailored strategies, Neri Law Offices offers legal expertise with speed and success. We care about our environmental footprint and supporting our community. Neri Law Offices puts forth excellent work product and fights to obtain the best outcome for you and your family. As the founder and managing partner, I am most proud of my professional growth and resiliency throughout the pandemic. I knew I had the skills and mindset to succeed and I wholly dedicated myself to building my practice. I want people to know that I am honest, relatable as an immigrant from Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, I love what I do, and I stand ready to help folks Achieve the Dream™️

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Los Angeles has so many amazing eateries and interesting things to do and see. I would start by taking my best friend on a hike to the Griffith Observatory for views of the Los Angeles skyline. We would then venture to my favorite breakfast spot, Square One Dining, for some delicious French toast, steel cut oatmeal, and their huevos rancheros plate with a side of fresh squeezed OJ. Crafty stores in LA are in abundance, and one of my favorites is the Soap Plant Wacko store in Silver Lake where you can find gifts, books, toys, art, and other unique items. For dinner we would go to Il Cappricio on Vermont Avenue in Los Feliz for an authentic Italian dinner and for a nightcap we would cross the street to The Dresden to enjoy live music or venture to Perch’s rooftop for views of Downtown Los Angeles and craft cocktails. Other great spots to visit: Castaway in Burbank, Amara Chocolate in Pasadena, Little Dom’s in Los Feliz, Providence on Melrose, Bludso’s Bar & Que (get the brisket) on La Brea, Catch 818 in Sherman Oaks (best micheladas), and Birds in Los Feliz.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a shoutout to my grandmother, Aurora Amelia Diez de Bonilla, born in Mexico Distrito Federal in 1942. My business website launched this April 2021 and my grandmother was instrumental in helping me translate my content into the Spanish language to make sure that it was translated correctly and easy to read for all. Tita – Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your efforts in this project, which means a lot to me. You are the real MVP and I could not have, nor would have wanted to have, done this without you. Te quiero mucho, siempre.
