We had the good fortune of connecting with Paul Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Paul, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I think it’s essential we try to do things in life that make us a little nervous or uneasy. Do things that scare us and that bring the feeling of adversity front and center. All this must be done socially, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically. I’ve always maintained this mindset as a professional because I know theres the next, best version of myself on the other side of any risk that I may take because theres always a lesson to be learned when attacking your fears.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve found a way to help people become better versions of themselves through physical movement for the last 7 years. In that time it evolved to doing that on camera and now to finding ways to distribute my knowledge and leanings from the last 7 years to others. I found it easy because I had the right energy and mindset going in, and that energy attracted what I wanted! I’ve learned that as a health and wellness professional sometimes it doesn’t matter how many certs or how smart someone is, at the end of the day we must be LIKEABLE! People have to enjoy being around us first and foremost :).
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My parents! They are from Jamaica and raised me in a unique way that I will always be grateful for. They instilled values about overall health that I still use to this day and have helped me maintain the level of health that I have.
