We had the good fortune of connecting with Pazit BenEzri and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Pazit, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is my ability to see any obstacle or hardships as an opportunity to grow and work even harder. Any pressure or adversities in life in general is just a way to make you stronger. My brand is thriving because of the amount or energy and effort I put into it. It didn’t come easy and I had to learn a lot of things along the way. I also value building relationships with people I work with. I think that this is the driving force in achieving a common goal. I see every person that I work with as someone I can relate with on a human level. This is an important key in building trust and loyalty.
What should our readers know about your business?
My journey started when I had my second baby. He was having trouble sleeping, and I was struggling to deal with the pressures of juggling two children. I needed a product that would let me lay him down comfortably next to me, while attending to the needs of my daughter. And try as I might, I couldn’t find anything. So, I found myself in my kitchen, sipping on coffee and working with some fabric, foam and safety pins. After several hours of trial and error, I created my first foldable baby bassinet. Fast forward 10 years later, this little kitchen invention, and our other products, are now selling all over the world in some of the most popular retailers around. At Lulyboo, we make products that seamlessly fit into parents’ modern lifestyles. Using only the best materials and designs, our collection of high-quality travel bassinets, toddler lounges and other accessories allow parents to keep living their lives with ease. What sets us apart is our unwavering focus on functionality, while keeping a sense of style. Every product we’ve created has been meticulously crafted for use in everyday situations, but at the same time utilizes tasteful and chic designs that go with any parents’ aesthetic. Easy? I’d say far from it. Along the road to our success, I could probably write a book about all the challenges we’ve faced. But what has always kept me going is my vision and my passion to create products that can make a difference in families’ daily lives. Even today, I’m still reading reviews that bring me to tears and make me jump out of bed in the morning – with a new found excitement for another day of creation. I’m a proud mom of four beautiful children, and it takes a great deal of work to find a balance among my business, family, and close relationships. For me, the key is to find time every day to focus on every one of my passions. If there is one takeaway from my story that I’d like to share with the world, it’s this: achieving success, beating the odds, and finding a balance IS possible, if you visualize your goals, work tirelessly and never give up!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The beach for sure! I love hearing the waves and Mojitos definitely taste better when you are at the beach. If I have friends visiting, I would definitely take them beach hopping and just showcase what Southern California has to offer!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give my shout out to Doron Malka, the owner of Ameba Marketing. He is also the author of the book BRANDcebo. His motto in life is “Yes.” He taught me that everything is possible even with challenges along the way, or a longer process than what we expected, we can still do it, with a smile. As a business owner, we are faced with big challenges that can shut us down, but remembering the “Yes” can change our mind to think about the solution or why it’s important to continue. P.S. Thank you Doron! You are a huge inspiration to me.
