We had the good fortune of connecting with Pharaoh Glenn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pharaoh, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
Is to mark my name on this world as one of the greatest Entertainer, Artist, Athlete, Dancer. I’ll help and show kids and adults with low confidents around the world that its okay to be who you are and express yourself to be the greatest version of yourself regardless of what and who is telling them “they can’t” or “that’s impossible”.

KAIZEN: Japanese word meaning “continuous improvement”. Even if you’re doing something 1% more than you did yesterday. You are bettering yourself. Therefor you are better than who you were yesterday. Stronger. Smarter.

I want my name to be remembered that they can be disciplined enough to become the best version of themselves. Want them to know that I Seek to be better. Be Love. Be Magic. Be Trainer and Master. a Perfectionist. To be remembered as an artist who never gave up.

Know that you are not alone in the journey of Greatness.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I was 6 when I first realized I was Drawing on a white sheet of paper in my preschool classroom during autumn out in Seoul, Korea. I realized i was drawing myself inside a TV. The assignment of the day was ” draw who you want to be when you grow up.” I believe it all started that day.

I remember since that day, everywhere I went I started noticing ads and commercials. Actors, Models and Dancers. Celebrities, entertainers and Artists. the more I noticed them. It made me noticed how happy and joyful they made people around me. In a world full of darkness. They shift my attention to brightness. It made me I wanted to be just like them.

However, my family didn’t want that for me. they had their plans for what fits for my life. I’m sure we all can relate to this.
“Be a Doctor. Be come a Lawyer.” ” Wait your half black. lets put you in Sports.” ( only some of you might relate to this on. )

So, I decided. I’m going to create my own path regardless of who supports me or not.

I made a new account on Instagram and started taking pictures of my lifestyle influenced by the creative world, actors, artists, models I looked up to.

It was not easy. the first step of anything new is never so easy. It almost seems impossible even. However, once I over came that first step. The second step didn’t seem too high.

I started waking up with more ideas for posts on IG. Suddenly, everyday felt a little more exciting day by day.

Thanks to social media. I am where I am today.

There were a lot of challenges. A LOT of them. I’ve lost Families and friends that I loved dearly through goods and the bads.

However, thought all the hardship. I learned the difference between Love and Loyalty. and that life will constantly challenge you.

I’ve dealt with so many different types of people to know what I like in a person to want to have them around and who not to waste any time with. people come and go. even the good ones. so I learn to do my best to be kinder than kind.

It taught me that life is all about balance. Being able to use life lessons to express my crafts helped me stay true to myself.

I need the world to know.

IT’S OKAY TO BE YOU!! DO WHAT YOU LOVE TO DO!! CREATE!! EXPRESS!! BE THE BEST VERSION OF YOU!!! It’s YOU VS YOU!!!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As much as I love to go out. I also LOVE staying inside.

First, since you visiting LA. We are gonna be EATTING!! I love FOOD. Most definitely going to the Taco truck!! Korean BBQs!!!
Japanese Ramen House!! take them to some of the street wear brands not a lot people know about unless you from LA.

Go Roller skating, arcade bars, underground jazz bars.

show them movies and take them to those location in LA. Take them to my favorite sports for the best view in city.

Then we go get groceries and start cooking at home and watch anime, movies, play games, dance. do all the things we love to do.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yes. Plenty of shoutouts.

First would be God. He helps me understand life isn’t going to be easy. However, he got my back. Therefor, I’m able to keep on pushing forward.

Family: They remind me how strong, patient and understanding I am. They showed me no matter how great the darkness is, I’m able to shine bright and shine through the imperfection of the feared driven worlds point of view. they remind me to stand tall and become better.

Friends: The ones that accept me as I am. Reminds me of my greatness. Reminding me that even if we come from different places. Friends can be upgraded to much more. A New Family.

Kobe Bryant : at the lowest point in my life. Kobe helped me rebuild myself to a Stronger, Better Version.

Miyamoto Musashi & Monkey D. Luffy, Ekko : These fictional characters helped me Understand. I have control over my life since I was young. No matter how hard and unfair life can be, they were always there to reminded me to take risk and never give up. Taught me how to take charger in my life instead of blaming others.

Most importantly, ME. For waking up everyday and choosing to be better and never giving up in order to help and guide others.
