Meet Philippe Louis | Fitness Trainer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Philippe Louis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Philippe, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor is to make sure you have the right people on your side. Because being a young entrepreneur is tough, and your surrounding needs to be in your corner uplifting you, and encouraging you to keep going.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a fitness trainer | online coach as well. I graduated from FAU with a BS in Exercise Science. I was always into sports and lifting weights during my teen years. I’ve been training clients for 10 years now.
I would say my passion for pouring into my clients and helping them reach their fitness goals are what set me apart from others. I’ve had clients whom shed tears, telling me that I’m a blessing, etc just by them seeing results. I keep them accountable inside and outside of the gym.
Make sure they get the right guidance when it comes to nutritions, pray with them when it come to certain bad habits they have.
The road to being a fitness trainer wasn’t easy at all. I’ve held different positions career wise in my journey. I’ve been in the sales, automotive, food and education industry prior to me doing a full transition to where I am now. I always say that it is Gods timing, because a lot of those jobs that I’ve had pretty much fell on my lap. Never applied to a few but HE knows that I needed to be in that establishment to embody the tools and experience to sharpen me into who I am today.
I’ve learned to always stay true to yourself. Always be coachable and eager to learn along the way. Treat people with respect, stay humble but yet know your worth.
I would want people to know that I care for them and hopefully I’ve impacted many along the way. Whether it is through the fitness industry or a connection through others, that I planted a seed in them that will eventually grow to change their lives for the better.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m currently living in Wellington , FL which is known as the equestrian capital of the world. Season last about 12 weeks. The atmosphere is great, a lot of interesting people to converse and connect with. Also, West Palm Beach and Delray Beach (known as one of the top strips in the nation) aren’t too far at all for a great night of food and the right ambience. Miami is about an hour away. So, sky’s the limit really when it comes to being in South Florida. I might be a little biased , but nothing can compare to living in Florida . Beach weather all year around, great food, great sports teams, great nightlife scene, beautiful people.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My younger brothers Claudell & Ralph Louis. Their journey in life is quite inspiring.
Claudell left Florida at a very early age and had to adapt to different circumstances in order to fulfill his dream of playing in the NFL, which he did. He showed me how to be resilient and what sacrificing means when you want something bad.
Ralph was homeless at one season of his life and that really molded him into what he became today. He showed me how to bounce back from different life situations and staying disciplined towards the goals that you set in life. No matter what is going on around you, don’t be shaken.
