We had the good fortune of connecting with Plat Gamma and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Plat, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I know for a fact I can’t work for someone else and make their pockets fat. I can’t trade my time for something that won’t benefit me. It doesn’t work for me. I am at my happiest when I can create something from my own head, and compensated properly for it. Took me over a decade to figure this out but that’s what works for me
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is capturing moments through film or photo. My end goal with all of my art is to tell a story. There are certain things I notice or have an eye for that I like to highlight in my art.
My journey is still ongoing of course so the hard part right now is dealing with not getting the recognition I feel like I deserve. But on the same coin, living in the moment I stead of constantly looking to where I feel I should be in my career may hold me back at times.
I want the world to know that we are all out here trying to figure this life thing out. I honestly dont feel I should be interviewed but still working!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s always something to do here. But I’m more of a play it by ear type dude so whatever time you hear, we’d just go from there
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Too many people to name. But with that being said, I have to shout out everyone I collaborate with on a daily basis. I have to shoutout all of the videographers & photographers in Atlanta that keep me on my toes. I have to shoutout the ppl who show me love when I put out content.
