We had the good fortune of connecting with Pranav Aditya and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Pranav, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I always wanted to do music at a very early age. I started learning piano at the age of 9. My dad being a pianist himself, was very inspiring for me to learn piano, and at the age of 17, I started producing my own music.
My dad used to play electronic disco songs on the radio and that caught my attention and I started listening to more of it. That’s when I realized I wanted to do music and pursue a career out of it.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a professional Music Composer. I stand unique among others because of my sound. The way I treat music and sound is very different from others. I try to blend electronic, classical, and Indian classical music, and when it comes out its very unique and new to the audience.
Well, it wasn’t that easy, to be honest, I am still struggling to get steady work, but I am very happy in my life, staying away from family, doing everything on my own, and living a peaceful life. I kept pushing myself for newer challenges in life and that kind of taught me a lot in life and how to live life when I had nothing in terms of money.
I don’t have an interesting story to be told about. It’s very simple, I worked hard enough to reach a certain point in my life and I always think it’s just the beginning and I have a lot to achieve in my life further.
Winning an oscar doesn’t stop you from working further.
