We had the good fortune of connecting with Princess Murray and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Princess, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
There are several factors behind my success but one in particular comes to mind. Taking the risk by making the first step and being ok with failure while learning from mistakes
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I create special events for children in Foster Care and LGBTQI people of color. What seperates me is that I bring resources to every event that help improve the lives of others. Im most proud of hearing of success stories of resources provided to people while attending one of my events. Easy? I would say it can be challeging and what makes it easy is a combination of enjoying what I do, the passion and feeling like I’m not working including purpose meditation and alignment to be at my most highest self to serve others. I overcome challenges by active meditation, aligning with the universe and maintaing a high vibration. I’ve learned to accept whatever help I get instead of refusing anyone who doesnt give 100 percent. I want the world to know anything is possible and your dreams can come true if you have faith and believe.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take the to a lake. The lake is a very quiet place with still water and I love the mountains behind lakes in southern california. We would fish for our protein and eat veggies and fruits from the earth. The most interesting thing for me is body of water. I have a special connection with water. As a child I swung from tree into lakes and will one day experience the feeling of being in the middle of the ocean on a yacht. The most fun would be driving my own super car, a Lamborghini and owning a home with a pool. I dream of providing youth with a recreational center where I can work and operate.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Ontson Placide Administrator at Department of Mental Health. He was my supervisor 3 years ago and he taught me how to plan special events for the community. I use his style of event planing with all my events that I plan. Also Tina Binda who is my current supervisor and LMFT who asked me one day what would I like to do and what is my dream.
