We had the good fortune of connecting with Priyom Haider and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Priyom, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I would say it would be to do things different and additional from most people, thinking outside the box. Separating myself from the thousands of others just like me, doing the same thing. Being able to stand out to the best of my potential with all my skill sets.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I dabble in more than one thing in the arts, and so like jokingly but also very much a reality – call myself a true renaissance man. What separates me from others I’d like to think is I’m equally skilled in several areas of the business, not just acting, but also writing/directing/producing/editing and photography. This does not include my fitness and other entrepreneurial ventures lol. It was a learning process that was developed out of necessity because that’s how you have an edge, separate yourself from the 10k others just like you that don’t have all the other skill sets as well. I’d want the world remember me as a man on mission with unparalleled drive that kept finding ways to reignite the ambition when times were tough – and always kept it real in a town that’s full of fabrication.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My home the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood for sure – then Hollywood walk of Fame and Beverly Hills. Venice Beach, get that beach work out in, and then enjoy the sunset in Malibu.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Great question. Where we are in life – that determines the dedicated shoutouts which can also change over time. After my epic mom, Tahmina Rahman, who always supports me of course, the obvious two are my two biggest heroes of all time – Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Lee. Their eternal and immortal drive, passion, discipline, perseverance and ambition will never make me give up on life, let alone my dream. After that – I give a shout out to the pandemic – Covid-19! The past year changed a lot of people’s lives and everything in life is perspective. While many if not most have suffered big losses, few grew stronger – all areas of mind, body, spirit, health, wealth and abundance. I’d like to think I’m the latter as I discovered how my life can change by working also in the financial markets – particularly that of cyrptocurrency and the stock market.
