We had the good fortune of connecting with p$ssybossqueen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi p$ssybossqueen, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The values and principles of p$ssybossqueen are simple and in the name. I’m a badass person with intense feminine energy. I’m a controlling know it all that has no problems giving directions. I’m royalty and demand to be treated as such.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
p$ssybossqueen is my musical alter ego. She is a version of me. A version of me where I get to be grungy and bossy and sexy. A version of me that gives no f$cks to what people think. A version of me that can take on anything and anyone.

Her music is like edgy rock techno that gives wild abandon to hard beats and echoey truths. She creates music with her alter ego partner in crime “Atune”. Together, they produced the EP “try me” being released on June 1st, 2023. The EP includes the tracks “you can have me”, “the way you look at me”, “left alone”, “professor”, “i just want to be” and “how about shut the f$ck up”.

She came out of a necessity to create. I’m a writer and director who makes films and podcasts. Things that require actors, crew, scheduling, money and time. If you’re lucky, some of these things will align some of the time. I desperately needed a creative outlet I was the only one in control of. I wanted to create my own music, my own style and character and to direct my own music videos. It’s a resume for my directing and editing but also something powerful, intense and kind of witchy, that comes from deep inside me that makes me incredibly happy to express.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A night on the town with p$ssybossqueen would consist of burgers and fries from Tom’s, followed by a blunt and a extra sweet starbucks coffee, a stop at the liqour store for smokes and wraps, a jack and coke or two at the viper room and top the night off at the abbey for a few quick dances before last call. Nothing flashy but a hell of a time.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate this to the idols that inspired p$ssybossqueen; Holly Madison, Snooki, Grimes & AOC.
