Meet Rachel Kylian | Actor, Producer, Writer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachel Kylian and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rachel, what do you attribute your success to?
My team (agents, managers), I work with great people. I also teamed up with great directors, producers and composers to make my films. Relationships in this industry are very important to my success.
I also encourage actors to get an agent/manager in every city where they want to work. There is work everywhere and you should not limit yourself to one market. I work everywhere and always look for new markets.
I love my job. I believe you have to love what to do to be successful.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an actor, writer, and producer. The covid19 pandemic didn’t stop my journey in the film industry, I actually became more creative. I wrote, produced and acted in a short film called “It’s Time”, a comedy. I wrote and produced another short film called “Epiphany”, a drama that just premiered at The Burbank International Film Festival 2022. We were semi-finalist. I am very excited about my films. It was not easy to shoot during the pandemic with the risk of getting infected, but I guess when we love what we do we don’t stop. I have learned that everyone is important in the filmmaking process.
I love to create and to give opportunities to others. The covid19 pandemic gave me time to write my stories, and I have been extremely blessed to work with great people. When I first move to the U.S.A, I didn’t know anything about the film industry and someone gave me a chance, so now it is my turn to give back.
