We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachel Madrigal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rachel, why did you pursue a creative career?
I started getting into art at a really young age and always loved being creative. I started my photography journey freshman year of high school and new that this was something that needed to be part of my life. The passion for it blossomed and grew over the years and evolved into what is now my carrier. I really ant see myself doing anything else other then being a creative. I’ve had other jobs in the past before going full time with photography and it was miserable. My heart is tied to this type of work and part of my purpose here.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m really proud of how far I have come as a professional creative. It took me over 7 years to make the decision to go full time. And I’m happy to say I have been full time for 5 years this August. Going full time with my at was a super scary transition. But I’m so glad I did, I’m much happier and healthier now.

Starting Twin Flame Photo has been life changing, I work with some of the most beautiful souls who are here to help people heal, raise the vibration of world and spread love. It a beautiful experience to photograph these amazing people and the work they do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some of my favorite spots in my city would be Historic Banning park and mansion, it a beautiful park with a garden setting. Also really love going down to Malaga cove. Its my favorite beach to hang out in and also do photoshoots.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to dedicate my shout out to my husband Manny. He has been n an amazing support though all of my ups and downs in my carrier. Always encouraging me to go for my dreams and goals. I honestly don’t know where I would be without his support and love. He is my rock.
