Meet Randall Byers | Rhinestone Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Randall Byers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Randall, why did you pursue a creative career?
For me, it was my own personal pursuit of freedom and happiness in a world that has 101 opinions on what you should be doing with your life. I am well aware that I wouldn’t be happy working a 9 to 5 job, so making art is my opportunity to keep my own hours and choose the projects that I put energy into. Plus, I can show up to work stoned everyday and no one cares.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We started Bling Fine Designs to be a platform for myself and other artists to showcase their creative talents. By the end of my career BFD will be a worldwide community of artists fueled by creative desire with the stability of consistent financial backing that would usually hold the artist back. The future of art has to be constantly expanding and I wish to create a comfortable and supportive nest for it to flow into.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love Beverly Hill so much!! Montys is one of my favorite places to grab a burger. Recently I spent some time in Malibu and it was hard to leave the beach. Honestly I spend most of my time at our studio in our house in Hollywood. We can see the Hollywood sign from our backyard so there is no reason to go anywhere. Just kidding LA has so much to offer everyone and my perfect day with my team would be us waking up inside the penthouse at Hotel Bel-Air to fresh croissants full of bananas and Nutella. We get dressed and head over to Vanessa Hernandez Skincare to get a VH Method Body Facial. Just wait there is so much more.. We would hop on a Orbic Air helicopter and see the whole entire city from a birds eye view. Obviously we would land on a yacht that would bring us to the shore only to fine Beachonista set up an entire beach dining experience and we just soak in those sun rays. We head back to the studio to approve designs for the Oscars and Art Basel. We grab dinner at Norah in West Hollywood and just relax and chill for the rest of the night at Wi Spa.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Drew Dominey, Lili Johnson, Lincoln Fish, Leslie K Monroy, Steven Galle, the incredible Stylist Emma Trask and so many more !! Couldn’t have done it without y’all!!!
