We had the good fortune of connecting with Rawlin Jefferson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rawlin, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Forming good habits starts from the development of a healthy routine and lifestyle. Keeping order and organization have always been a big part of my success. Maintaining discipline and sticking to a schedule help with facilitating tasks get done in a timely manner. Eating healthy and staying active help with keeping a positive outlook, maintaining high energy and keeping performance levels stabilized.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art and brand could be considered a triple tango of entailment. Styling and fashion has always been a major piece of the puzzle that makes up who I am as a creative. From a young age, styling has been important in being able to express my individuality. The confidence that radiates transcended to others and I slowly began styling others. Now, this has become a major part of my creative streamline.

Following styling, would be my dynamic duo of acting and modeling. A year ago, I took a leap of faith and started auditioning for acting and modeling roles. I have had the opportunity to work with such brands and organizations as OpenTable, Volkswagen, Spotify, HBO, Showtime, AT&T, and many more. I am currently on a National billboard campaign and will be walking in LA Fashion Week.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Being fairly new to the city myself, I would want to be spontaneous and check out all the wonderful spots this city has to offer. Staying away from the tourist areas and really finding the little mom and pop places that make this city sparkle. Spending lots of time by the ocean and warm sands, drinks and music throughout the sunset nights. Bike riding down the coast and stopping at some of the hidden restaurants recommended by the locals.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The drive and motivation behind my success greatly stems from the continuous love and support that is shown from my friends and family. Having a strong and stable support system can be the make or break structure that holds the base of your success. Motivators of guidance and wisdom, but also ears that listen in the time of need. Being able to bounce off ideas and have a checks and balance system in decision making is key to success.
