We had the good fortune of connecting with RayMauri Wiggins and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi RayMauri, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting my own business was to tell a story and create longevity ownership. I have several businesses in different avenues but they all hold the same thought process. I play the long game in each business, meaning when starting each business I thought about the long term effect it will have on me and my family lives generational wealth wise and how can it can inspire young African American males like my self.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a Entrepreneur I dabble in several avenues of business I’m able to do so by having working history in many areas. I got to where I am today by being consistent and perfecting my crafts. I come from a background of former collegiate athlete so a lot of my habits and preparations that got me to where I am today came from what I learned from sports. The lessons and and challenges In my life still to this day play hand and hand no matter how many doors get closed on you sometimes you have to try the window. I want the world to know that any brand or business that I’m founder of or apart of there’s a story behind it that is similar to theirs so keep striving and stay consistent in the process while perfecting their craft.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would say food wise we would eat something healthy and fresh there’s a lot of spots in Scottsdale, AZ that are in that lane. I would say places to go as far as fun is maybe hiking Camelback mountain and maybe go up north to ride atv’s and utv’s.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to honestly give my shoutout immediate family (son, daughter, my children’s mother, mom, dad, Tyler Roberts, Lorenzo Sullivan, Markia Sullivan and most of all my younger brother.) I would say this group of individuals inspire me and help me build my success in their own way with their unique story and presence in my life.
