We had the good fortune of connecting with Reggie McDonald and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Reggie, what do you attribute your success to?
Everything I do , has to have feeling behind it. There is no such thing as doing something and not making sure you feel it.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m the most excited about the new music I have been working on. I have been creating from a very intimate place and I think the growth will show. It took alot of hard work , pain, and tears to get where I am today . It was not easy at all aha. I had to keep reminding myself , why I do this in the first place . I had to remember to make the little boy that use to dream about making it come true. I’ve learn that the process truly is what the journey is all about. And I want the world to know my story . My brand is about making people see things from your perspective , taking them to another place .

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well my best friend is my Fiancee . So I would take her to the Maldives , and we would stay in one of those bungalow huts. There would be the baked fish for dinner, with some of the sweetest fruit on the island. I would make sure she felt like royalty everyday . We would dance with the locals and enjoy the smell of the ocean every day .

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shoutout to any one that has truly believed in me . There were a few people that uplifted me when it matter so I would like to send a shout out and dedicate it to them.
