We had the good fortune of connecting with Renay Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Renay, how does your business help the community?
My line of work helps the community by navigating people to get to their destinations via travel. I work in the spectrum of Transit/Aviation.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m the type of person who doesn’t focus on what sets me aside from others; instead, I stay focused on what I can do to continuously become a better person. I work in Transit/Aviation. I got to where I am in life by having a strong belief system, foremost in Jesus Christ. If it weren’t for my spiritual beliefs, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I’m very grateful for every obstacle because it has created a perseverance mentality in me. The journey is not easy, but the destination is what matters most. Life is a journey. If you keep pushing forward you will eventually reach your destination.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Fixing Soul Kitchen, Crypto Arena, The Grove has a lot of shopping centers, and last but not least, Malibu NOBU restaurant.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a special shout-out to my mom, grandmother, and sister. They are the women who came before me, and through them, I gain insight, resilience, and strength to know that no matter what I face in life, I’ll get through it by being true to myself.
