Meet Ricky Tucker- The Social Prince | Singer, Socialite, Jetsetter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ricky Tucker- The Social Prince and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ricky, what do you attribute your success to?
Confidence! Period. But if I must say more, confidence is everything. No one follows or listens to anyone that does not project confidence. Head up, shoulders back and step into a room like you own it if you don’t already. My presence speaks volumes entering a room and people know that I’m there without my having uttered a word. They then want to know whom I or you are and you can sell anything. Be it my voice, my business or a simple let’s get to know one other for friendship or relationship but it truly all starts with being self confident.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a singer with a 6 octave range. I was born to be on stage and have been since the age of 3. Starting as a baby model, then finding my voice at 6 and being offered a contract with Disney at the age of 9 years old and at the time the youngest signed. I went on to perform around the country from large state events, every NFL, IHL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, games, the House of Blues, doing 5 Broadway productions, touring with a famous national play, commercials, television, and performing on International stages to name a few, (more on website) all before I was 18 years old. I’m now 34 and still going appearing in several reality shows on air and currently working on another musical project as we speak, stay tuned. .
I’ve learned to never doubt myself and remain confident in all of the ups and the downs life throws at you. Keep your head up and things tend to work themselves out in the end for your betterment.
I am a hardworking man and have done it all. Nothing I fell I can’t do. I’ve traveled the world and have circumnavigated 3 times around the world, 61 countries visited and counting. I would love to meet a producer and engineer that understands my voice and whom I am and make some beautiful music together for the world to hear and love. Living in Las Vegas the last 6 years get continuing to jetset the world has been amazing but also came with let downs because of something you might have heard of called Covid-19 but we and I survived and keep pushing. I’m a Black Gay Man, single and ready to find a gentleman to compliment my life and not complicate it. Music will always be apart of my life and I love lifting my voice to the heavens for all the world to hear.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I often am found at Barry’s Downtown Prime, Best food in town, and also Ferraros. Barrys and his incredible staff Yassine, Marco and other owners of Barry’s always takes great care of me; as well as Gino and the entire Ferraro Family from food to drink and the occasional cigar. I also am a big fan of Cork n’ Thorn in the arts district for live entertainment where you can support your local artist and run into the occasional celebrity, they have great drinks and hookah where Randi the owner has now become a close friend and Rio proprietor of Harlee Q’s Hookah always has the hot coals going and ready to serve.
You may also find me and my friends at the fabulous Wynn and Encore Las Vegas many restaurants and entertainment venues and the Bellagio Las Vegas at Picasso and Petrossian Bar having Caviar, Champagne and my new fabulous signature cocktail The Bourbon Renewal aka “The Social Prince” that I highly recommend. On menu at Coops Caberat another great entertainment venue here in vegas with the best acts in town on the stage nightly. Most don’t know how to make it so have google ready for them to learn the receipt. Let me know what you think. (Wink)
Las Vegas has been home for many years though I am a real New Yorker, Born in White Plains and lived in TarryTown and all over Southern and Northern California as well as Abroad in Switzerland (chalet) and Monaco on my super yacht. Las Vegas has been a base and has had a hold of me for a while now and it’s been a pleasure at the end of the day to be a resident and am happy to share my favorite go to places with friends and family old and new that come to visit.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Ok ok… “AND THE GRAMMY GOES TO… Ricky Tucker…. Lol sounds like the intro to a Grammy speech… but seriously, I’d first like to thank God and the Universe for the gifts. Allowing me to be placed where I should have been at the time I needed to be there and for those that came into my life to help me on my journey. My mother Denise, my grandmother Gigi, for always encoring me and keeping me grounded as best they could lol. My dear friend Debbey in North Carolina, Kirsten, My darlings in Las Vegas Serena Henry, & Ms. Monet also powerhouse singers, her sister Monika Sweetwyne whom I am often with and sharing a laugh and just having some great moments and true friendship with. My other socialite crew, Maribeth & Tim Trainor, Angeles Scorsetti, Steve Mason, Sini & Terry Kwiatkowski, Will & Stacie Baalbaky, Rob and Sarah Coomer, Mike & Carolyn Daniels, Mike & Sanjeeta Khanna, Dr. Eva Littman all of whom have been apart of my life and close friendships gained. I could go on an on and I know I’m forgetting some but as you know they will play you off the stage and I’m being told to wrap it up. Lol (wink, wink) so many wonderful people that I’ve shared my life with and will continue to share the moments the laughs the tears and the successes bestowed upon us. Thank you all.
