We had the good fortune of connecting with Rishi Pathak and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rishi, what do you want your legacy to be?
I don’t like to talk about me much . Mostly i want to express through my behaviour or it’s natural . I don’t know what to say that people will remember me for that but I guess a person should be genuine and honest for themselves. People remember someone for their work and how he sees the people and world . It’s reflects in your work and behaviour also. If it is making changes in society I think this is what one’s achievement.  

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
To be very frank it was never easy to get a little success I have now but I believe if you are dreaming something to become you have to connect the dots . Everyday you have to work towards your goal untill you are not achieving it . The challenges I faced to get myself motivated while struggling with many things while the process .. so learnt in this process that always keep yourself in the frame . A picture or a bigger movie where you are imagining yourself

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
See every individual is different but if I will tell the readers definitely I will guide them in best possible way . I’m from a very old and cultured city in India . My city name is Lucknow . We are known for our hospitality and very sweet nature . My city Lucknow architecture is known for its Royal imambaras, palaces , gardens and residential building . The forte of Lucknow nawabs embedded the city like pearls , embracing the transition of cultures . And Lucknow is also famous for its skilful embroidery of chikankari . It’s an art form that involves complex and artistic hand embroidery. For non-vegetarian my city is like a heaven . I will take my friend to world famous tunde Kababi for galawati kebab, Lucknowi biryani and than we have famous basket chat from Royal cafe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I believe, there were always I have competition with myself . Since childhood I am a stubborn kid . Always has a different and unique approach whatever coming my way to do . I think this is my way of approaching life . If I have to give credits I will give myself first to my old progamming to new . Than ofcourse we learn a lot from our nearby . Cinema came very later in my life when I get failed to do nothing in sports field . As I was very good at it . I will like to give credit to my inspiration mira Nair an indian-American filmmaker her cinema inspired me a lot specially her film namesake . Women has a lot role into my life . Right from my mum to my ex gf and ofcourse there are a father in family he silently support you from far like a pillar . I’m very grateful for everyone who teaches me life . Cheers .
