My journey into the entertainment industry has been challenging, but I choose to see these challenges as life lessons rather than struggles. I came into the business with zero connections and had to figure out which doors to knock on, who to reach out to, and where to be.

I understood that not every choice I made would lead to the desired outcome, but I made sure to be at peace with those choices. I recognized that life can throw unexpected curveballs and that things don’t always go as planned. Despite these uncertainties, my vision has always been to involve as many people as possible who share the same dream as me

One of your proudest accomplishments is contributing to the production of the first Latin AMAs Music Panel in 2018. This event was organized in collaboration with Santa Cruz PR and was held in honor of Telemundo’s upcoming Latin American Music Awards. Through your efforts, you convinced NBC Universal Telemundo and the Los Angeles Film School to host a panel discussion highlighting the contributions of Latinas to music and their current roles in the industry. The panel included renowned Latinas such as Aracely Arambula, Becky G, Roselyn Sanchez, Leslie Grace, and Gloria Trevi.

Building on the success of the Telemundo event, I took the initiative to launch my own company called Industry Connexion. This dynamic quarterly series aims to provide an immersive experience in the world of entertainment. With a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion, Industry Connexion brings together top industry professionals who share their personal journeys, insights, and strategies for success. This platform is designed to benefit both students and professionals, fostering dialogue and inspiring the next generation of creative minds.

The event’s mission is to keep diversity and inclusion at the forefront of these discussions, with the goal of creating a more inclusive and representative industry.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The first stop would be the Hollywood Bowl, the world’s largest amphitheater. It’s a legendary venue known for its iconic performances and stunning atmosphere. Enjoying a concert or live event there would be an unforgettable experience.

Following the Hollywood Bowl, a visit to the Warner Bros. Studio for a behind-the-scenes tour would be a great way to delve into the world of movie-making. Exploring the back lot and studios for them to get a unique glimpse into the magic of filmmaking. Discovering the secrets and intricacies of the industry would surely be fascinating and entertaining.

The perfect combination of music, entertainment, and exploration, showcasing the best of Hollywood’s vibrant culture.

I can’t forget a final stop at the famous Porto’s Bakery for their cheese rolls and potato balls

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My father is a living testament to the power of determination and perseverance. He came from humble beginnings, growing up in a small rural village with limited opportunities. Despite the challenges he faced, he never let his circumstances define him. Instead, he chose to embrace the belief that hard work and dedication could create a path to success.

As I grew older, my father became my pillar of support and guidance. He encouraged me to pursue my passions and never settle for mediocrity. He taught me that failure is not a sign of weakness but rather an opportunity for growth and learning. Whenever I faced challenges or doubts, my father was there to remind me that I had the ability to overcome any obstacle that stood in my way.

I am forever grateful to have such an amazing father who continues to inspire me each and every day. His unwavering belief in my abilities and his constant support have fueled my own aspirations and given me the courage to chase my dreams. As I strive to make a positive impact on the world, I am reminded of the invaluable lessons he has taught me – lessons that will forever guide me on my journey.
