Meet Ryota Sakai | Owner of Delinquent Bros.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ryota Sakai and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ryota, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
My Clothing line was inspired by the 1950s clothing style and graphic prints and seems to fit along with vintage clothing style. Most people tend to like unique and cool clothes, especially in these times and as well as in the past. Style is an everlasting cycle for fashion. The pandemic has not made it easy for any of Us but we stuck it out whether thru our online store, at Space City Vintage for my clothing brand, Delinquent Bros. and our another store in Tokyo , Japan, Space City Vintage.
So i guess you can say my success for Delinquent Bros is my unique and vintage inspired clothing line from my tshirts , hoodies and snap back caps, etc.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Im the owner and creative mind for my Delinquent Bros brand. I use to be a Vintage clothing Buyer and i have spend a lot of time with vintage clothing. Also im inspired by Tattoo culture, Hot rod culture and any kind music from the 1950s. Which has inspired me to make my own clothing line, Delinquent Bros. A vintage inspired street brand.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Id take them to Dodger stadium for a baseball game. Grab a Dodger Dog and some Modelo beers! Since im the owner of Delinquent Bros., i spend most of my time at Space City Vintage, so i get to hang out with my Space City family and friends. For me, Space City Vintage is the place to be when in L.A.!!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
A big shoutout to Zac Vargas, owner of Space City Vintage and Guillermo Cuevas, owner of Dunrite Leatherworks!
