Meet Sabine Combrie | Licensed Physical therapist, Certified Cranio sacral therapist, Sophrology trained .

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sabine Combrie and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sabine, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was working already for more than 20 years in the medical field, as a physical therapist in France and in US. I worked in different settings and specialized different specialties along my years of practice. I wanted to be able to combine everything I know, and have learned along the way to be able to give people a better personnalized way of being treated .
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have been practicing in France for 10 years when I moved to US with my family for my husband ´s career with 2 little kids at the time. I had to go through a very difficult and long process to get my US PT license, which took several years, while having a third child at the same time. I started to work as a licensed US PT with 3 little kids, and decided to learn a different approach of practicing physical therapy in another country than my home country . I worked in a pediatric setting for several years in US and have learned a lot. I have worked in different style clinic setting after that, and decided that after many years of working for other people, developing my knowledge every day a little more, I decided it was time for me to do the big jump and open my own business.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
LA is a wonderful diverse city.I live in the valley, which is actually pretty convenient when you want to go to Malibu , just by crossing the canyons, where the drive and scenery is just unbelievable! I love being at the beach and especially in Malibu where the cliffs remind me of some cliffs of Britanny in France. I like to stop there for a picnic or eating fish at one of the nice costal restaurants along Malibu coast.. I also like to hike in the Santa Monica mountains. For a great overview of LA, I will recommend to go to the Getty museum , the museum itself, the overview of LA, the gardens are unbelievable!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband ,and my family have always been here to support me through those years when I had to take the Physical therapy board in US after already practicing for many years in France , but also and when I wanted to open my own business, they helped me through the process. My older son did my website and managed my social media. My husband helped me with the office management, my middle son and my daughter supported me and helped me with photos and videos.
