We had the good fortune of connecting with Samir Janjua and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Samir, what do you want your legacy to be?
My legacy will be elevating the masculine consciousness on this planet.
And with that, we heal, transform, and come alive with our fullest self-expression, which supports all of humanity and the mother earth.
What should our readers know about your business?
Currently, I am focused on and really excited about 2 things. Photography & Facilitating Men’s Work.
In regards to photography. I love chasing the sun with my camera. I love photographing people. I love photographing nature. I have a portfolio of commercial clients who hire me to create bright and clean photographs and videos that help their products & services sell. Additionally, many entrepreneurs and coaches hire me for lifestyle portrait sessions which show case their best selves online.
In regards to facilitating men’s work, I host in-person men’s circles in nature in Los Angeles about once a month and online men’s circles on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 pm pst. What makes our circles different is that we go deep, do the work and we also know how to play and have a lot of fun. Our in-person men’s circles have a sensational experience that you won’t forget.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I pick up my best friend Michael from LAX, we cruise over to the beach house. We strap our packs to our motorbikes. We head north to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park. We have a blast cruising all the turns in the windy mountain roads. We stay the night at a cozy river cabin. We wake up and head to Yosemite National Park. The next stop is all of the secret hot springs along the way to Lake Tahoe. The weekend arrives and one of my friends is putting on a transformational dance experience in the deep forest of Northern California. We meet the most beautiful, heart opened, expressed, and fun people. We dance until sunrise. We rest and then head out to the Redwoods National Park. The Redwoods humble us. The entire time we’re collecting stunning photographs of all the National Parks. We head to San Francisco to stay with friends and then go to a live music show. Shortly after we head to Pinnacles National Park, Carmel-by-the-sea, and Big Sur. We ride through the beautiful PCH and stop by beach towns like Pismo Beach and Santa Barbara. Then we head out to Channel Islands National park with kayaks and camp over the weekend. We then finish the trip with a fire on the beach in Marina Del Rey. It was one of the best times of our lives.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
