Hi Sammy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Honestly, it was more about investing in myself than other people’s brands. I’ve driven results, cultivated engagement, and strategized campaigns for many brands, including content creation, modeling, and promotion. But with big brands, your success is fleeting.

That’s why after five years of that, I had the amazing idea to create AyPapiCo, a wellness and cannabis brand where I could pour my passion, hard work, and expertise into something I truly believe in.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Los Angeles is a city that explodes with options! One minute you’re catching sunrise waves, the next you’re carving fresh tracks on snowy mountains. ‍♀️ Talk about variety!

But beyond the adrenaline rush, I’m all about living and sharing a wellness vibe. We’d crush epic hikes like Runyon Canyon or Griffith Park, soak up vitamin D during beach volleyball matches, and fuel our adventures with delicious, healthy finds. ☀️

Being an LA influencer has its perks! So we would be hooked up with exclusive access to hot-spot events: trendy fashion shows, vibrant cannabis festivals with educational workshops, and mouthwatering food truck gatherings where every bite is an explosion of flavor. ✨

Firstly, I offer my deepest gratitude to God, for without his unwavering presence, none of this would have been possible. Even when everything else falters, his love remains constant.

My wife and family are my pillars of support; their love means the world to me. With them by my side, I know I can face any challenge and kick ass doing it!

My business partner, Justin Lee, deserves special mention. Actor turned confidante, his vast knowledge and experience have forged us into a formidable team. He fills any gaps in my skills, offering guidance, support, and invaluable lessons. His presence makes every workday a joy.
