We had the good fortune of connecting with Sanghamitra Dasgupta and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sanghamitra, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Well in the beginning I also tried working under other companies.. But that leadership was always inside me.. And that vibe I always miss. So I planned to setup my own in 2012-2013

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Well, I have mastered in self-promoting, Business, and having great relationships with clients. I always try to understand their needs. It was not easy in the beginning. I got humiliated, got rejections.. but I worked hard, especially on the negative points.. and I believe I still have a lot more to learn which I try to learn daily.

I will tell the world that in Creative Art Shoppee we work with creativity and try to come up with something unique that will make your book totally different. Our main target is to stand alone on the top.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Obviously, as an artist, I would love to take her first to the LA County Museum of Art following with Walt Disney Concert Hall and Universal Studio. We don’t drink.. So we will go for food and hang out only.. and for that nothing else but the Carvery Resturant.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Well, I will always be thankful to my parents for their continuing support.. yes there are some of my best friends who were always there for me to cheer me up.. Jonxy Richy, Cindi Goodeux, Jed Doherty, Laura Leone, Chad Randall, Ruby Handley, Chris Mitchell and Vaishnavi Macdonald. You can say it’s a group of supporters. And how can I forget my all-time working partner, my pet chipmunk..whose only presence motivated me more.
