We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Wallner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sarah, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started Musotica.com because I am a wardrobe stylist and Costumer and I often was looking for a unique look for magazine covers and could not find what I was looking for. When I realised that my covers were selling well and the features I started thinking if I sell the items I created and got credit for my store in the magazines I would be able to sell them and make more than just a low fee for styling. Once I started my online store I received many requests from other stylist to use my products for their magazine, commercial and film jobs. Basically I created the dream clothing a seperate company department for pulling clothing for stylists. In return I would get credited on the features and in return I would get sales. Once magazines started dissapearing I joined the union for costumers and costume designers and kept Musotica also.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Musotica.com sells unique lingerie and clubwear for Insta, Tik Tok, Only Fans girls and the sexy excotic world. We ship worldwide and I select all Items myself with magazine, social media and more in mind. We created a world that combines the regular woman that would like to look like her favorite insta girl and the ista girl that would like to keep her look fresh and current. We also have men that buy from us to gift their partner or even wear product themselves. We found out through out the years that Plus Sizes are being purchased by crossdressers and more. We cater to all facets of life. Often we collaborate with insta girls and create a beneficial promotion by cross posting. We create a look for them. Many social media girls contact us every day and we select a few that correspond to our brand marketing. Musotica does not sell the boring bra and panty.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would go for lunch at Via Alloro restaurant in Beverly Hills. After that we would go spend time shopping at the Beverly Center and continue onto Melrose and visit the resell stores with Vintage fashions for sell. In the evening we would get drinks at Tocamadera in West Hollywood. In the evening we would have dinner at Craig’s on Melrose.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
honestly I did it all on my own however I like to thank all my vendors that have supported me in creating Musotica.com and all wardrobe stylist that used my products for their jobs. I also would like to thank IATSE 705 and the *92 Guild for having me as a union member in the film and TV industry.
