We had the good fortune of connecting with Sasha Khis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sasha, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Ability to calculate and take risk is a very important part of being entrepreneur. If you follow basic rules of risk management such as not to bet more than you can afford to loose or always have plan B, C, D etc. then risk comes along as a part of the progress and not as an obstacle to achievement. In my carrier as a hairstylist there is always a risk, especially because throughout the day I work with different people, personalities, moods, products. To minimize it I always have to stay up to date, follow the trends, adopt them to real people and never stop learning.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I believe what sets me apart from others is the wide range of services I can provide, along with my background working in customer service field gives me ability to understand, help, communicate and provide the best services to my clients. I’ve been in the industry for 3 years, and before that I was working in completely different field. I was doing office job because it paid good but always had a passion to work as a hairstylist. I went to school to become a nurse (again I chose that path because of potential stability and finances and not passion) but along the way I dropped and decided to try to pursue my passion. In the back of my mind I thought if it won’t work It’s never to late to finish nursing degree, but I will regret if I won’t follow my heart. It was one if the best decisions in my life after having my son and moving to another country. The moral is – your soul knows what you want, you just need listen to yourself.
I want to let people know that my work and dedication, is all comes with love, and If you happen to be in my chair, you will love your new hair wether it’s a new haircut, color , hair extensions, hair replacement piece or scalp micro pigmentation. I wan’t people see my passion through my craft. 💕
