We had the good fortune of connecting with Scott Cvetkovski and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Scott, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea for One Heart Way came shortly after my initiations in receiving the ability to channel the Reiki energy. I had many immediate scenarios that called for my use of the Reiki energy and I couldn’t believe how fast I was able to help someone with their mental, emotional or physical body healing. I remember thinking to myself after these wonderful healing sessions, “how can I not make this my focus and help as many people as I can live a beautiful life.”

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Getting to where I am today has been an incredible journey, and one that has shaped all aspects of how I operate in the world around me. My background in business, leadership in sports, social and emotional learning and development in schools, experience with neurodiverse individuals on the spectrum, proficient as a Holy Fire III Reiki Master, Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai Reiki Master, Holy Fire III Karuna and World Peace Reiki Master, Kundalini Activation Facilitator, and Siwa Murti 1 Healer all play into how I operate my business and how I treat the people who come to see me.

I look at people from a soul level view. Whether I am being sought out for martial arts, healing, or business consulting, I cherish the souls that I work with and make sure every interaction can be the most benevolent for everyone involved. It was very difficult to get to this viewpoint in life, many life lessons occurred that propelled my inward exploration and development and they all were worth it to get to the point where I am in life. This is what I am most proud of.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The first thing I would have to do is take them to Big Deans for a burger. We would then do a nice long walk up to Palisades Park to watch the sunset over Malibu. The next time we are hungry again for our second burger at Father’s Office on Montana, and then visit our friends over at Santa Monica Brew Works.

I would see what great musicals and shows were playing that week that we could go see at one of the many amazing locations LA has to offer. Hopefully, while they are in town they can watch me play Gaelic Football with my team The LA Cougars Gaelic Football Club.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have been so blessed to have many masters in all forms assist me on my journey to becoming who I am at this current moment in time. The support of my board members Dr. Norris Dorsey and Gavin Stokes has been vital in my personal growth and development, my father Hanshi Jim Cvetkovski (9th Degree Black Belt) who has taught me discipline in the martial arts and in life, all my training partners in the healing arts and martial arts that have skyrocketed my evolution of the healing arts and martial arts, and to my incredibly inspiring wife Samantha who is the champion of champions of me and steadfast in unwavering support.
