We had the good fortune of connecting with Scott Lee and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Scott, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Consistency. I feel that we are creatures of habit. Creating habits allows me to maximize my time in my entire day. Fitting in a workout in the morning before work and having meal prep saves me time to focus on myself as well as my work.
Creating goals that are achievable.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
OFFSET MED is to provide artist-athletes with the resources they need, guided by professionals they trust, to promote optimal health and human performance. Creating this LLC with my cofounders was a rollercoaster of experiences. We were able to overcome the difficulties of our company with many trials and efforts.
Our goals are to help the underserved dance community through education and care.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
1. The best surf spots 2. Breweries
3. Smoked meats!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Many people deserve recognition. Life changes with experiences within yourself or with others. We have phases in life that I feel as of right now are high school days, undergrad, graduate school, and work life.
My undergrad Chapman athletic training friends. Will always cherish the first times of my career development and friendships that I hold very dearly to me.
My graduate physical therapy friends. The experiences of the hardest days of studying and juggling social and school life was life changing.
My work life. Going through a residency, starting a LLC (OFFSET MED) with my good friends, and jumping into a position that challenged me clinically and allowed me to explore my abilities as a leader to my staff.
Finally making big leaps in my life with big purchases with the help of my parents.
