We had the good fortune of connecting with Sean Grant and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sean, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
For me its consistency. I may not be the most talented person in the room but I am a master of the details to success. I am professional & kind at all times. This has led to major opportunities and a good reputation in the comedy business.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Ive been a comedian for 20 years now. It has been a great adventure. I suppose it wasnt easy however I think not living in this calling would be more difficult then making the sacrifices comedy requires.

Some lessons: Be humble yet explosive. Be on time. Be kind. I want you all to know that i love you with the unwavering love of God & to anyone who has ever enjoyed my performance at a live show or liked a creative post you saved my life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We gotta go to The Crow in Santa Monica for some great standup comedy shows. While we are in the area swing by Westside Comedy Theater to check out some improv. And since you are my friend you must love to serve so lets go to It Starts With One Today 8am Sunday to serve the community with Gods love. Lets also go to One Church on La Brea for some great Bible based ministry.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Starts With One Today is an incredible organiztion that operates on Skid Row on Sunday mornings giving out necessities to that community. They also rescue animals and serving with them for the last few months has been a blessing.
