We had the good fortune of connecting with Sebastian Feichtinger and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sebastian, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
The beauty of an artistic career is the opportunity to express who you are through your work. I have always been the kind of person who loved to share my thoughts and journeys with others.
Filmmaking is my way to share and create anything I want. I lived in three different countries over the years and have met so many people that inspired me to write and direct. When I first noticed how much fun I had expressing myself through film, I realized that I wanted it to be my career.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a comedian and love to make others and myself laugh. Throughout my past three years I have made several award-winning comedy shorts. One of them being „Hold it!‘, which is a story about three people from different cultures that are forced to work together to deliver a baby in an elevator. The story was inspired by my International background. I have lived in Russia, France, Austria and the US, constantly meeting new people and cultures. Furthermore, I also post daily sketches on my TikTok account “Sebvines“, where I have gained 1.8million followrs over the years. I worked on these sketches since 2015, always reminding myself to keep going, as long as I enjoy it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite place in Los Angeles is the Getty museum. It is very peaceful and quite and has a beautiful garden and art exhibition. There are also many other hang out options that I like, including the Urth cafe in West Hollywood or the Americana Mall in Glendale. When my friends visit I usually also do all the standard tourist attractions, including going to Disneyland, visiting Griffith Observatory or taking a tour at the Warner Brother Studios. Another very beautiful place in the LA area is the Pirate‘s Cove, which is a great place to watch beautiful sunsets.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents have been my biggest support, since day one. They were always there for me and listened to my ideas, no matter how crazy they seemed. I am very grateful for them and can‘t imagine going this path without their help.
