We had the good fortune of connecting with Sharon Raijman & Yurii Barybin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sharon Raijman & Yurii Barybin, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Sharon: Starting beTRUE Podcast Studio was driven by a blend of passion, opportunity and the desire to create a safe space where creativity could thrive. Podcasting has become one of the most popular media outlets for influencers and creatives from every industry so we decided to transform one of our studios into a high-quality experience for podcasters at every level. Yurii came to see beTRUE Studios as a venue for his upcoming event and during that visit I showed him the middle studio which was under construction.

Yurii: I saw a real potential in that room right away and offered to help Sharon build a podcast studio there. That 5 minute decision started beTRUE Podcast Studio and a great partnership. We are excited to offer podcasters a powerful tool for unlimited creativity where they can freely share their ideas, thoughts and stories. A place where every technical aspect is thoroughly thought through and the quality of audio and video is on the highest level. Our clients only need to bring in their guests – everything else is ready for filming.

What should our readers know about your business?
We both came from different backgrounds in the entertainment industry. Yurii Barybin, co-founder of beTRUE Podcast Studio, is also the founder of 1987 Masters, an entertainment management and technology company that specializes in venue management and production services, creating immersive and unforgettable experiences for different audiences. From large-scale concerts and festivals to corporate events and movie premieres, their team has the expertise and creativity to bring any vision to life and execute more than 800 events yearly.

Sharon Raijman, co-founder of beTRUE Podcast Studio, is also the founder of beTRUE Los Angeles, a creative space that allows anyone that walks through their doors to be true to who they are! It is a space that provides opportunities to create content in their cyc wall studios, connect with like-minded people at many of the events hosted at the venue and feel inspired to be your authentic self no matter who you love or where you come from. Sharon started in the influencer agency world of things and continues to work to connect her network of LGBTQ+ influencers with brands for social media campaigns.

Sharon: beTRUE Podcast Studio is in a very central location in between Hollywood and West Hollywood, which makes it so easy for our clients and their guests to come to. We provide a premier podcasting experience with industry-leading equipment from Blackmagic Design, Shure and Aputure, plus experienced staff and versatile recording spaces that offer a customizable look for every client to produce a top-quality podcast that stands out!

Yurii: We also empower businesses by leveraging the unique power of podcasting as a strategic tool for growth and communication. Our tailored approach includes everything from podcast concept development to premium production and distribution, designed to elevate the brand and strengthen its voice. Our services extend beyond podcast creation — we offer marketing and promotion strategies to ensure that content reaches the right audience, maximizing the value and impact of every episode. Through our expertise, podcasting becomes not just a media format, but a vital tool for brand-building and business growth.

Starting this business, like any other, came with its challenges as we are both very busy working on our other individual businesses but coming together as a team has helped us work hard to get the podcast studio opened. We are excited to continue this journey and help many creatives and businesses bring their ideas to life in the studio. This is just the beginning for beTRUE Podcast Studio!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would take our friends to some of our favorite places including: Getty Villas, Getty Center, Malibu Village, Hollywood sign and many restaurants including Angelini Beverly Hills, Urth Cafe, Mood, Bradstreet Oyster Company Malibu.
