Meet Siefyan Wali | Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Siefyan Wali and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Siefyan, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I choose an Artistic career Because I have love for music. Music is what saves my mental and keeps me going with everyday life. I’m also gifted in music from singing to writing.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is the fact that I am not like the regular norm. I am very different from everyone else and I have came to realization that my path is different from everyone else’s. Wanting to be in a spotlight or something greater for yourself is not an easy path and everything doesn’t come to you just because. I believe hard-work and a driven attitude plays a big part in it along with being around the same people with the same ambitious drive that you have. They say you are the sum of the 5 people you are around and I make sure my circle is not just small but also with driven hardworking people in all different aspects.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I don’t really have a favorite spot in Albany. All my favorite spots resides in New York City or Atlanta. I recently just came from Atlanta and I had a good time. I’ve spent most of my childhood in New York City, mainly Brooklyn and island. Where I really want to go to is those nice resort islands with the water parks and fruity cocktails.
